Awesome Rescue. It is a beast. Much like the three rescues at my final FD. This rescue is set up great. Glad to see that the fold down steps have been improved from earlier versions.
New Jersey' emergency services are different from alot of other states. EMS services provide heavy rescue with patient care & transport. Their Rescue services provide dive team, water rescue, vehicle extraction & others, that is normally provided by the fire service. "The 🥧 pie is divided a little differently in NJ"! A very awesome , Rolling Tool Box🧰! A very Classy 🎩Heavy Tool Box!!! Great walk around! There is more than one way to do anything!!!
Amazing rescue truck. Princeton is a wealthy town so it's expected. hope you can see the rescue truck in newark for university hospital. those emts are so good that they teach the fire fighters.
Only downside I would have with them emphasizing on those wireless headsets when on scene is, when you exit the rig you should be putting your Fire helmet on or some other helmet or already have it on, depending on the call.
Never seen air and light on a Rescue? How? Almost every Rescue around here has a light tower and scene lighting and a good share of them have cascade systems.
He has this annoying habit of dumbing everything down and acting surprised by things that are common in the fire service. Talks about all the experience he has and acts like everything is alien to him.
@@grandtheftautotune7715Calm down there Mr. Taco Bell. No need to be angry, because you’re jealous. If you don’t like the content of this channel, just leave and go bother/troll on another channel.
I'm all for the battery style jaws. But not to have a set of hydraulic jaws is stupid if your in a prolonged extraction your batteries will run out of if you get back to back extractions your out of luck with the batteries your truck becomes useless I think.
Looked like they had 2 sets of both spreaders and cutters, also extra batteries charging, and a PTO generator. Sounds like plenty of juice to me. But I get your point, I much prefer hydraulic and gasoline powered myself
Princeton does have a fire department. It is called the Princeton fire department. At one point in time they had multiple stations throughout the town but I believe everything is now kept in the same station which is in close proximity to the rescue squad.
I wonder what the fire department thinks about the EMS/Rescue guys having fire equipment and showing up to “do” firefighting? I bet it’s the same way the EMS/Rescue members feel about the firefighters showing up on their rescue with extrication equipment at an accident….. I can tell you from decades of central Jersey service, agencies love stirring the pot between each other.
That is, without a doubt, the nicest heavy rescue rig I've ever seen. Thank you for the walk around.
You bet
Wonderful truck. I wish you had a shot after sunset where they demonstrated "Bringing the sun." That would have been awesome.

Would love to see this at night. Do like the lights on all the passenger and driver doors. This is probably my dream hr if I was a firefighter.
My department used to have a walk in similar to that except it was more like a 2/3 1/3 and its now a dive rig out west
wasnt it a mastic fire dept rescue that became a south metro fire dive unit in CO
Thats right but it's not that department, I'm in pennsylvania

That is beyond fantastic I guess the only thing missing is the kitchen sink nothing like the 60s and what I drove
Times have changed that’s for sure
I really like the set up!
that is one beautiful rescue

CAPNOSPOT IS A GAME CHANGER FOR SURE !
Sure is. I can’t believe it too this long for a company to come up with this simple solution
Princeton has come a long way in their equipment. Back in the 70's they had some of the worst equipment in Mercer County. This is a very fancy rig.
19:15 Your cameraman shown again 😅
Sometimes you can see me in the reflections of the super shiny rigs too
You should visit the Flemington Raritan rescue squad
Where is that? We need them to send us invites to make it happen. We don’t cold call.
We’ll make it work
Is this fire house located in Princeton New Jersey

When you drive the firetruck what sort of driving licence do you have
Most only require a normal drivers license. Some companies may ask for a CDL.
