Can you please interview Sierra Hull and Larkin Poe? Sierra’s on tour currently with Cory, as well as her own tour. As for Larkin Poe, their two roots rock’n roll sisters - Rebecca Lovell is lead vocals, acoustic/electric rhythm guitar, banjo, mandolin, etc. Megan Lovell is their lead lapsteel/dobro player, and background vocalist. They both began playing violin when they were toddlers, then traveled to bluegrass ‘til they were around seventeen before deep diving into blues/rock.
Video and sound quality is PERFECT for these subtle explanations I just wish the camera was 5 feet further back Just kidding, still interesting and thanks
some of the great funk/jazz players do use this technique. Even mentioned in the video- Benson, Metheney. Check out Simon Bartholomew (Brand new Heavies) and Rob Harris (Jamiroquai), also the guitarist in High Fade (don't know his name). They are all known for their insane rhythmic capabilities and they all use pretty much the same technique as Cory
Not a fan of his playing or this style of music at all but always a fan of enthusiasm and willingness to help enlighten folks who might be..Bollinger makes that a pretty easy thing for the guest to do with his own attitude and enthusiasm.

Thank you Cory for saving this interview and making it useful.
Cory Wong is one of my modern day idol. He is unique. The guitar and pick attack/angle he has makes the instrument like a drum almost. Percussion.
Well, THIS was interesting! Thinking about how we pick the strings and try different approaches is also important.
This one should be good. Cory has so much character as a player and personality. Excited.
Can’t wait for this one, love cory’s playing and approach. 4th position baby!
He gets an interesting slap back effect from his style, very cool and groovy.
There are few guitar players as tastefully crisp in their playing.
Awesome! Thanks for sharing that!

Troy Grady will appreciate this.
Dava picks are great, super versatile and easy to hold onto to.
Yes definitely but a little expensive to buy a lot of them.
@@vedder10 picks last me forever but you're not wrong.
i met him once after a concert, he cave me his pick. i am to scared to play with it hahahahah
YAAH
Why are there 5 comments that say yuuuuuuuussssss? What does that even mean
Since almost no one uses this technique I guess you could say it's Wong. Get it, like wrong but Wong, sorry I couldn't resist.
I wouldn’t recommend this technique to anyone. Cory is great, but as long as we can separate the two 😂

Can’t watch this enough.
True Natural Super picker
Cory is amazing!
I hold a thin pick sideways, and use one of the top sides to hit the strings. ANYONE ELSE?
I pick the same way..but not as good as him😃
Wory Cong!
how many of us here pick the same way? I do
Yuuuuuuuuuuussssssssss

Never herd of Cory Wong
Why do most of the videos look like this?
This guy knows what he is doing. But something about him just annoys me.
Yuuuuuuuuuuussssssssss
