Wow - I love the way you approach this :-) Starting in the middle of the track is such a great idea. (At the start of April last year I promised myself I'd learn this track and then things happened like they have for everyone and the Kawai-digital ended up in a cupboard. I've just brought it back out and found this excellent vid - so thanks! You should certainly make more TH-cam vids if you have time. This is timeless content which will help a lot of people out. Hey Bro, I wanted to thank you sooo much for the performance and tutorial, and especially for taking the time to break down this piece for us so we could all learn it. And I really liked how you left out all the annoying low level stuff like, "this is a C scale, this is how you make a C chord..." like so many TH-camrs do with difficult advanced pieces. Just curious, are you pro now? Do you do gigs or studio work? I always wondered what it would have been like if I had majored in music which I considered in high school. But as a HS senior, I didn't nearly have the skillz you had (I saw your recital, killer!!!).
And hey Bro, have you ever checked out Micheal Franks "rainy Night in Tokyo?" I'll bet you could do a lot with that!
