He's intelligent, hardworking, and a damn sharp watch guy. And from the looks of this comment section, a lot of people are sickened by how you discarded him AND others just for "content".
Ive been a salesman for over 10+ years, both commission and in store, if Marco is a Lead, or somewhat of a higher position, he shouldnt be worried about taking or splitting commission with the others. It shows leadership when you PASS sales off or Build sales for others, not take it away. I understand that he helped with the sale, but if the other guy started it, and marco helped close, its who ever started the sale or the lead gets the commission. Especially if Marco says hes such a good salesman, and he seems and talks like hes in a leadership role, he shouldnt have a problem helping out others since hes so good at selling anyway. Sometimes the best sales people, build and pass sales to others who arent as talented. It builds the team. Marco needs to relax lol
Exactly, I’ve been in sales for 15 years, I’m a national sales manager with a team of 6 area managers. If they do well, I do well, it’s not about protecting my budget for me, I get compensated well if my team hits their number. I pass off significant leads to my team and I can trust that they’re going to follow up, I shouldn’t be working on leads that take my attention away from helping my team reach their goals. Marco should be helping his team succeed if he’s in a leadership position, not protecting his own wallet. It’s selfish and will stop his team from asking for his help. I hope he learns from this, he seems to be a good technical salesman, but right now, he’s not a good sales leader.
Idk seems like he did everything on that deal except being a person who initially got the lead, so I get it, especially since it's a large comission but in my opinion it will just lead to salespeople being more selfish in the future and only working on their own deals so they can get paid
@@adamf894 This makes sense to me as well, though only if he is paid some salary as an actual manager position. If you are both strictly commission sales agents then you should be splitting the commission. I do not believe marco is being paid as a manager

Having spent decades in sales, I've been stuck in the commission split conversation from both sides. My thought is the downside to not allowing teams to split some (edge case) deals is that they will be less willing to spend time away from chipping away at their own quotas to help others. As a sales director with 20yrs sales expertise i while heartedly disagree with that split commission statement, an assist warrants a split commission if both sales persons agree.
You need to rank the salesmen based on margins, not on sales. Whomever makes the highest margins is the best. If someone sells a $500k watch at a loss, he brags that he made $500k in sales

In the car business we split commissions all the time. If I sell the car, and for some reason, can’t deliver it to the customer and my coworker ends up doing the paperwork and delivering the car to the customer we will split the commission. It takes no effort from the accounting department to split. Also, in the car business, if you get “skated” (your customer, but another sales person stole them from you) The original sales person is entitled to half of the deal, it’s principal.
So all this video proves is, profit, profit, profit. Its not about watches anymore, its about, it your targets, commission. No better than any AD. 1.5 years i have been waiting for a date just. Your all the same. But go on talk about your profits!!!! it sells hey
I put in weeks once to help a coworker close a tough deal. He tried to take 100% of the commission because it was "his customer". All it made me do was never help again. I've proudly contributed this month to Pete's sales goal. lol.
Marco really letting this get to his head. Feel sorry Kevin
Oh dear Marco so just because you source a watch you should get a cut of the sale 😮. So you helped him because you thought you were getting paid disgrace. Love the vids big love from Scotland ❤
Alex finally got rid of the Kim Jong Un Haircut.
Lol
What happened to Nick Einstman? Wasnt he a member of the sale team?
We need these vids more often, top tier!
I am not sure about this video this week. multiple scenes and conversations felt heavily scripted or rehearsed. Also where is Nick, Chris, and Sabina?
He should be compensated for this via a sourcing fee at least. You have to incentivize teamwork.
Where Nick at though????
1.3 million makes over 200k for company and they get like 4k 😂😂😂
Man well it was a good lesson for Marco and helping others is a good quality to have .
Tell Kevin to get his damn shoe off the coffee table 🤦🏻♂️ no manners 💀
Marco the big dog there in sales is Alex…you don’t even come close to him let alone others
Let’s go especially if Marco is such a good salesman with a huge knowledge he shouldn’t be taking commission from new guys.
Noooo guys no click baity titles! Your content is more than enough no need to make thirsty mistakes!
Why does marco think hes a owner or coach like why would he feel that hes just a kid
Peter you sandbagging 😂you could hit a mil. 3:07
Marco is definitely annoying
💯
In the car biz, commissions are split all the time
Clients remember experiences - giving the cake for the MBF was really smart. The buyer will tell everyone to whom he shows his watch “and the salesman’s gave me a cake too!” And every time the client does, he will think of his salesman.
Were are Nick and Chris?
- You guys don't understand the margins !
- You guys don't see humor: that woman who is smiling making sales is who that other woman supposed to be.
- Another thing about that women, if she keeps smiling and slowly grows and is able to do both jewelry and watches is game changer for her!
- Marco didn't do anything wrong, he wasn't on point with principle. Shout to his team mate for the support Kevin -
Making the show so everyone can enjoy and y'all can eat - I have food at home entertain.
- Peter is the epitome why having option is valuable, him be a multi service guys can do him well..
This episode is fun!
We can't just forget the fact that Alex, Sabina & Machine gun chris was fired. What happened?
They got fired
Yes people that want a commotion for helping aren't real friends there just there for the money
4:21 So anyway, enough about you... I'm at 1.3 already
😂😂😂
In the car business we split commissions all the time. If I sell the car, and for some reason, can’t deliver it to the customer and my coworker ends up doing the paperwork and delivering the car to the customer we will split the commission. It takes no effort from the accounting department to split. Also, in the car business, if you get “skated” (your customer, but another sales person stole them from you) The original sales person is entitled to half of the deal, it’s principal.
Splitting commissions is a bookkeeping nightmare.
This is a tight ship 🚢
take Marco out for dinner or buy him a nice bottle of wine - thats how it works
Marco is a White Claw guy
@@PepeDeezNutz 🤣🤣🤣
Always have to watch Romans videos as soon as they come out!
Great work guys 🎉 solid work Marco and Kevin good shit going in for Marco awesome team guys
protect dave's hearing, airhorn not cool.
Woman gave away all the gross on the necklace too quick
So all this video proves is, profit, profit, profit. Its not about watches anymore, its about, it your targets, commission. No better than any AD. 1.5 years i have been waiting for a date just. Your all the same. But go on talk about your profits!!!! it sells hey
Soooo, helping at your company is free and charity work? Right ? Way to motivate your team guys. Something doesn’t smell right in that situation
It would be so amazing to work here the numbers are crazy! Marco is a beast man big fan guys keep the content coming
I feel like this was a humbling episode
26:17 GETTEM ALEX LOL FRENCH DUDE AGAIN lol
I put in weeks once to help a coworker close a tough deal. He tried to take 100% of the commission because it was "his customer". All it made me do was never help again. Just have a set split on commission, 70/30 if someone is needed to help close a deal. TERRIBLE idea for teamwork to not split commission.
I love them trainers Adrian, what are they and where can I buy them?
