    Knowing Resolve a little bit I must say to make this there is a lot of thought behind this small scene. Thank you Casey for sharing your knowledge with us, this means a lot to us.

    That animation works perfectly. The only thing I missed and couldn't find is how to make text slowly rise and slowly disappear? It seems I missed something... Does anyone notice that text behaves differently at the end but we did nothing with it.

    • @Youssef_Ben_Yedder
      @Youssef_Ben_Yedder หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Yea it happens at around 26:46 where the edit of the video suddenly cuts to him looking at the text settings and now the text is animated differently xD I guess they missed that when editing the video or something, Im gonna try to figure out how to do that as I learn to use Fusion and Davinci

    for those following along, and curious about the part he skipped where he animated the text, he did another video about the "follower modifier" that you can search up to finish off this tut 😎👍
    i just finished the tut Casey thanks for this :) my first motion graphics :)

    Wow. I've only been using DaVinci for a few months and spent very little time on Fusion but your videos are giving me a glimpse into the possibilities. I'm approaching the point of understanding how little I know and just how much there is to learn. Thank you!

    great guide on keyframing and motion graphics!
    personal notes:
    17:13 !!! -- adjusting keyframes for a smoother movement path
    25:58 -- stopmotion node to keep the motion consistent (on 2s)
    27:00 -- davinci resolve's particle system!

    I just got Resolve a week ago and was planning on primarily using it for putting together my animation clips, but now I am seeing that it’s capable of SO much more!
    Thank you for making this easy to follow; it does seem very intimidating to start doing things in Fusion, but with these kinds of videos it makes the process much easier and less daunting. Thank you!

    Casey, you're a magician!
    It's not just about the amazing things you show us, but also about how you present all the information. There are so many people who also do remarkable things with DaVinci Resolve, but their way of presenting information is... well, quite a bit worse.
    Thank you for the fantastic video; it took me around two hours to repeat the steps and finally understand what, how, and why works in that specific way.

    Again, Casey your tutorial is just in a class by itself. There are very few educators on this platform that can hold a candle to what you’re doing and HOW you’re doing it! Stellar work sir, just stellar! And in case it’s not clear, yes this satisfies your previous request for what is needed in the space. This specific type of content. Clear, simple, and easy to follow. More please.
    I do have one question about the process and not the result here: Are you live narrating as you’re doing or that’s after the fact narration ?

    This is too cute! 😍 I remember another skibear owns the mountain you made, it is cute too. You have wonderful ideas besides the great skills. Not many good fusion graphic animation tutorials on TH-cam. It's not easy to do good works and then teach/present how that works in a cohesive way, thank you for sharing this valuable fusion graphic animation! For your 30 mins video, I need to do many many practices to fully grab it and keep each function in my head🤣

    Up until the 30:00 mark, the text in the title was static, but then from the 30:01 mark forward, the text appears to fold up as the water rises. When/where in the video was this changed/set and what was it changed/set to?

    • @darryldouglas6004

      I noticed that too. At 26:33 the text drops into the water. There is a cut at 26:47 and then the word Deep fades in underneath the water. 🧐

    • @Tricker17
      @Tricker17 16 วันที่ผ่านมา

      I don't think davinci reads svg files but you can bring it as a png file and animate it just like he did in the video, if the png is large enough in quality you can't really see the difference between the vectors and the image, and there are a lot of websites for downloading quite nice designs
