Hello friend, congratulations for the channel. I'm loving the videos of your electric bike!! Here in Brazil, now that some interesting models of electric bicycles are emerging. I bought one, the model is the Hive Greenway. I'm loving the bike. And also the upgrades you are doing on yours. congratulation
Hi Frankie. Interested in replacing the existing bar to another with either 3.5" or 5" rise (undecided) 7/8". You mentioned I would need to get a 7/8 to 1" shim to ensure proper fitting. Just to make sure I get the correct shim, could you share the link of the kind you got? Also, as I make the handlebar transition, anything worth mentioning to be aware or careful of as I do it (using everything from the old handlebar for now). Thanks for the help!
Thanks for the comment. The exact one i got is not available anymore but this one should work just fine. www.ebay.com/itm/163861295764?epid=15047664593&hash=item2626e4f294:g:ARsAAOSw9x1g0Uq6. Its all pretty straight forward. Take a pic of the stock setup first in case you have to reference back to it. Make sure your cables are long enough for the new bar, and when you screw the bolts back on to tighten your new handlebars, dont tighten hard yet. Make sure it is where you want it first so that its comfortable for you. Then tighten, and make sure you use locktite to be safe.
I am short and we tried to turn my handlebars around, like many people do, to bring them closer to me. The screw on the handle bar was super tight and ended up stripping out the screw. Now I have no idea how to get the screw out. Any advice?
That’s everyone’s worst nightmare. I’ve heard of some drilling through the stripped bolt to get it removed. I honestly would take it to a bike shop and have them remove it. That way they’ll most likely have replacement bolts in the shop as well.
Hey Brother.. I'm local and if you would like to try out the Cloud-9 Cruiser Select Saddle & Zoom post set-up you are welcome to stop by and give my XP a spin!
Thanks! I might take you up on that because I almost got the suspension post and didn’t. Curious to see how the cruiser c9 feels compared to the one I got too. I will for sure let you know!

Do you have a link for the handlebars? Thank you!
Unfortunately I don’t. They were handlebars I took from a motorcycle.
