Im sorry friend! If it is any consolation, Ive been seeing a lot of people on youtube talking about the major slow down of market traffic right now! I think it is the heat! And also, like you said, seemed there was a lot working against you with this market. Thanks for being honest and sharing your ups AND downs with us! We ALL have them!

$150 is too much for the convenors to charge when it was their first market.
This is so true! I was so shocked by how much they asked her to pay! I paid $160 this year for a booth for TWO days at one of the biggest and most established holiday markets in my (big and well known) city!
I’m so sad that is wasn’t a good market. I was really hoping it would be. I think we’ve all had major flops, I had one earlier this year and only made $10 and I had paid $100. It’s all a learning experience and I will never do that one again. It wasn’t a market but it was at the mall and I thought it would’ve been good but it wasn’t. I agree 100% with your husband, we will most definitely win some and lose some. 💜

Sorry the market wasn’t good. Unfortunately people have realized how much money they can make as a coordinator and hold markets even though they have done nothing to guarantee any foot traffic. It’s been a problem uprising in my area. The good coordinators will charge very little or no fee at all if it’s their first market.
I had a show like that, too. Held in a hotel, they said there were multiple things going on, so there would be lots of foot traffic. Nope. I didn't have a single sale. No signs outside. Walking into the hotel lobby, there wasn't even a sign pointing to the room we were in. Ugh. Worst show I ever did.
Oh no I am so sorry!!😭it’s definitely a gamble doing new markets but it’s always sad when it doesn’t work out how you expected.
