Hey ~ I just started getting houseplants this year so most of my chores are potting up cuttings, changing water of cuttings, watering and checking if they grew in the last 2 hours I wasn't looking at them. And thanks for confirming that neemoil smells disgusting. It was my first thought using it and I thought I was just overreacting. 😅
that monstera repot looks gorgeous now! i have a tiny monstera adansonii that is kind of my trial by fire for houseplant pests... she is going through it. But hopefully not too far in the future she'll look as gorgeous as your cuttings do :)
Unfortunately.. my whole house smells like neem oil right now, (like burnt rancid garlic) I just had to treat every plant in my collection for pests, it started when I saw mealy bugs on my bird of paradise, then noticed little webs on my Giant taro.. so.. all the plants to the bathroom !!! I mix neem with my insecticidal soap. I hope we’re in the clear for now, however, all my plant leaves are shiny now, maybe less neem oil in the mix next time, I hope they can breathe through that coating Adensonii just don’t like my house, they crisp up so quickly 😥 too dry in here?
