Hands down the best purchase for my 800GS. Also passed the technical inspection for my bike with this light installed without any problems (Switzerland MFK).
@@abitofaviation in my opinion the F800GSA was ahead of its time in 2013. The current F850GSA carries over alot of tech from this bike and hasn't changed much. Only in engine, emissions and design.
Were the bolts on the side the exact same? My new headlight seems to have smaller bolt holes and the original bolts don't fit. Did yours come with new bolts or did you buy them?
Hi! Thx for the review! When I switch on my high beams on my 2013 800gs the aux lights also switch on. Do you have a different switch of is the new headlamp not compatible with the aux lights?
It's adventure which came with stock with the lights, right? Maybe the German version is different? Thanks to your review I'm gonna buy the new head lamp and i'll see what they do to the aux lights. thanks again! :)@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure
@@angeloengel5675 yeah this one already had the lights fitted with the factory switch. odly in some countries this wasn't a standard fitment. Bit odd that an adventure spec has optional AUX lights. no problem. hope it works out for you. the headlight is awesome.
This is the 1st gen or style 1. There are 2 newer styles in the market now and they have breather valves to let moisture escape. The 1st gen does not seem to have any breather valves. Does it have a problem with moisture?
Yes I see there is a Gen 2. That is a good question. There is a small amount of moisture. I saw the Gen 2 light not sure if I like the design and the swapped round the high and low beam. Apparently there is alos an issue with the connection. Lamp error message.

Absolutely. I'll be doing a comparison of the F800GSA and the F850GSA soon. The F800GSA is literally that good.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure test rode the 850 and decided to stick with the 800 until BMW comes out with a 900cc Boxer (can take some time…) :-)

I've got reviews on both the F800GSA and the F850GSA if you want to take a look
Nice vid! Where did you mount the spotlights to? Looks very nice.
Thanks so much. The spots are factory. 😎
I travel that road occasionally, won't be too hard to spot You with that light...... 👍👍

@@SeanLuse hi there, no had to use my old bolts. It did come with some washers. That's about all.

Hi there. Perhaps the aux are an after market fitment on your bike. I have a separate switch on mine for the aux lights. They were factory.

Hi. Can you please let me know which visor is that? Thank you.
Visor? Windshield is it? That is factory from BMW
Good stuff very easy swap over so simple..
Yeah most bike headlights are straight forward to swap out.
hello, do you have de brand or the link for the auxiliary lights? I just bought the led Head Lights and they are perfect. Thanks
These were standard Std on the adventure. Awesome. It's given me no issues bar a bit of misting up in the light but it's okay.
You think it would be possible somehow to make the daylight riding part separate?
Unlikely. Ive only seen them complete.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure I meant separately usable, so that during the day you don't have to use low beam
@@Reichsritter ah right. It doesn't bother me at all but I see what you mean. It's a legal requirement to have your lights on here.
@@EireRider.motorcycle.adventure Are you sure DLR isn't sufficient, I think it's EU wide
@@Reichsritter i think it's just old laws. I would think so personally.
