Update at 11:27 despite saying it's not directly supported, the 5050 8car variant works just fine, this actually makes new sessions available inside the game. Oversight on my part, sry. Download it, and drag the contents "東急東横線・みなとみらい線" into your scenarios folder (or just drag the Scenarios folder of the zip and merge with your current Scenarios folder). And it will place the 8 car variant inside the toyoko line folder, there's sessions already configured for this train, so when you launch the game after, you will see more sessions available. No need to change directories in the .txt files
@@HeiloBrandes Sorry, not sure what the issue is :(. BVE is a CPU bound program, you can try reducing the view distance and anisotropic filter. Running in fullscreen instead of windowed mode, can also help with performance. But those are the only graphical. Perhaps you can try using task manager to spot where the performance bottleneck is, or if there's another software running that's using those system resources.
I don't need this video because I'm well familiar with the game, content and the struggle, but I'm just leaving a comment to help with The Algorithm™. You deserve more recognition!

Hi thank you very much for this video! I have just discovered your chanel and I like the way you make a tutorial funny. By the way you sometimes make of your pronunciation, but it is very decent (well I am French so mine will never be better xD)
Why are so many routes not working in BVE 6 ? I wanted to change the used train in the Scenario from BVE Webpage but only the normal one still was shown?
Hi there, sry for the late reply, just in case, try using 7zip instead of the default compression tool, to discard that possibility. I also had problems with characters and its hard to pinpoint whats causing the issue, given windows is a mess handling them.
Hello, if you are referring to the 40000 series, it can be found here: nisshi24.jimdofree.com/ Theres a password in the corresponding 40000 download page, that you need to insert in the getuploader link to unlock the download.
Glad you enjoy the videos :), I may upload stuff occasionally, but at the moment i have no concrete plans, also real life shenanigans aren't helping :/
Sorry to hear that, I've tried and it seems to be working, for now at least. ux.getuploader.com/BVE_keikyu_toei_KS/download/1 (Sound) ux.getuploader.com/BVE_keikyu_toei_KS/download/2 (Route) There's a small download button below the URL and MD5 links, if it still fails try using a vpn chrome extension for example, and see if that does the trick, not sure if there's region lock for certain downloads or not. Hope it helps :)
@@glaixber I successfully download the route and train. But when I open the game, it said 'index was outside the bounds of the array'. I wanna know how to solve this plz
@@alanchi123 Strange, I feel like I saw that error at some point but I honestly don't recall what it may be, I've installed both the route and the train separate from my main installation and it does work (The Keisei3000 and Toei5300). Double check if the routes/sessions show the Japanese characters correctly and not some weird gibberish like I've exemplified at 2:18, and if you have MS Framework 3.5 and DX12 installed www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=22 www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35&
Not sure if i understand the question correctly, but BVE 2 and 4 use a different directory structure, some routes are converted from bve 4 to 5, but i don't think Bve 5 content is backwards compatible with 4. I believe the Tokyu Toyoko Line was only made for BVE 5 but I could be wrong.
Yeah no wonder nothing shows up after installing my routes/trains! I gave up playing BVE5/6 due to this issue! So I have to edit the directory for every new content! OpenBve was much easier drag and play.
All routes show in the same place, you just need to point to the right directory once and the game will remember it. Ex: "...Documents\BveTs\Scenarios" The text files in the root directory of Scenarios are the sessions the game reads and loads from. Edit: So every time you add something new, and then launch the game, it will now show the new content, no need to change directories again in-game.
