  • Graham joins Rev. Jesse Jackson at Memphis’ Lorraine Motel - the site of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.’s assassination - for the National Civil Rights Museum’s commemoration of his death. Jackson vividly recalls the fateful day, including the moment King was assassinated, informing Mrs. King of the shooting and wearing a sweater stained with King’s blood over the following days. Plus, his thoughts on convicted shooter, James Earl Ray and suspicions the shooter was aided by the FBI.

If these four men were allowed to live, the world I think would be a greater state of affairs. It saddens me deeply that peace and justice of all and their hope and fight for a better tomorrow was destroyed along with them. Such is the evil that rules the day, may be one day their killers and the organizers behind them will come to justice.

If they were able to live past the age of 39 (MLK & MX) who knows all of what they could have done for the Black community. You should check out the documentary on Hulu about how the FBI was obsessed with destroying MLK in the 60s, it’s really great!

Every time we had a leader who helped us to understand that we deserve to be treated equally and fairly, society and certain elements within the government viewed them as a threat or danger and proceed to eliminate them. And we as a whole been lost every since. People wonder why it’s so bad with violence now in almost every major city and suburbs, it’s because of this. Every great nation had great leaders. I feel like that what we as All Americans are missing now regardless of color, is a true leader who knows how to get people to listen and who makes sense and peace. It’s sad how society feared for us blacks to have leadership and be organized with structure. They take it as we trying to take over instead of us just needing leadership and guidance to help us to be stronger as a whole and have unity amongst all but more importantly amongst each other. They shouldn’t been feared but praised for that they have their leadership also and every since the emancipation of slavery, we lacked guidance and leadership. With everything going on now, I truly believe God purposely allowed this virus to be a worldwide problem because we as people, forgot to serve him, and to serve him is to serve and love each other. We are too busy fighting, killing, hurting, harming each other as humans and not respecting what God created and made for us and as a result this is the solution. I hope that we can positively recognize the true purpose of this pandemic and use it as a wake up call for mankind to love and have more respect for each other and for everything that God intended, made, and created.

That’s a fine way of alleviating people of accountability for their actions and where they are in life. I am a whole entire grown woman - what would I look like looking to someone else for “leadership” in my personal life other than pathetic? When you are an adult with a functioning brain, you are responsible for yourself, your life, its outcome and your own potential. Lack of leadership has nothing to do with it. It’s lack of accountability, so you can speak for yourself. “We” are not lost. Some of us are quite well off as we’ve made the sacrifices, decisions, and choices to elevate ourselves. Of course some folks will be in a perpetual state of chaos courtesy of their own piss poor values , but don’t normalize it by imposing that narrative on everybody else.

It's like with any other movement of significance.. you have a person or perhaps persons who are sincere and genuine.. they have a vision of doing something truly meaningful for a particular cause and they are willing to die for that cause..
° Then there are those who want to use that movement to enrich themselves... They love the spotlight that the movement provides... They crave the notoriety and power which is connected with this particular movement.. but they do not love the movement, they don't see the vision and they hate the leaders of the movement because they are jealous of the attention and intoxicating power that those who are actually dedicated to the movement possess...
This creates the opportunity for those who want to end the movement..
When the FBI came the Jesse seeking his help in killing Dr King he had his hand fully extended and on the take..
✓ he had the opportunity to assist in setting Dr King up..
✓ he had the means to set Dr King up.
✓ he had the motive to set Dr King up.
✓ he had absolutely no love for the movement as evidenced by the fact that he did not continue the movement... He cashed the movement out for a few thousand bucks and moved on.
Hoping that the notoriety that he garnered from his participation in the civil rights movement could later be parlayed into other politically motivated opportunities.. it didn't work, now here everybody is 50 years later having to listen to Jesse lie about the entire incident.
Jesse Jackson.. you have no Honor.. your people know what you did . You will die in disgrace.. no matter how many lies you tell yourself and others about the events surrounding the death of Martin Luther King.. we know what you did.
