Me too, Geovani! There's an amazing energy and pace that I loved as well. I think part of it is from the university students who (I think) make cities extra fun and youthful and full of energy! It's such a beautiful place with incredible views everywhere you look :)

Fascinating....I wonder what people in 1648 would think if they could fast forward to the future and see the tunnels today. Thanks for another great travel adventure.

Hey Silvia! Thank you! Guanajuato is such a gorgeous city - would be so cool to live there! Did you happen to visit Cafe Tal when you were there? I loved having a coffee and working there. Thanks so much for watching my videos and happy to hear you're enjoying them! :)
By far Guanajuato city is the most beautiful COLONIAL town in Mexico. I said colonial, the history and the under ground street tunel system is unique. Plus is where the independence of Mexico starts against the Spanish crown
I hope someday .....you can visits ZACATECAS... Capital.... same vibe like Guanajuato City... Old Colonial/Minery city !!! The MINE OF THE EDEN...is AWESOME !!!
Hey Juan! Sorry for the delay in writing here! I'd love to visit Zacatecas. It looks beautiful and it's been recommended to me by a lot of people. There are so many places I still want to visit in Mexico someday!
Wow such a beautiful place! I'm originally from Morelia Michoacán came to the US when I was 7-9 years old live in the San Francisco Bay but hopefully some day I can visit there looks like a place I could live in!
Thanks Sara! How cool! I LOVE Sweden!! I've only really been to Stockholm but had an absolutely wonderful time. And I love Swedish fashion, design, food, music..... :)
Hello, I just looked up what that is and, yes, I believe we saw that happening in both Guanajuato and San Miguel de Allende. It's actually featured in this video if you want to see: th-cam.com/video/RA3YMnoWDNk/w-d-xo.html
Ya the Weeping Lady or the crying lady goes way back, but not only in the tunnels but all over Mexico everyone has heard of the Weeping lady.I don't know the exact story, but she Supposably drowned her children down by a River and now roams Mexico looking for her Children. When I was about 5 or so and was being a bad kid I remember my Mother saying to me the Weeping lady is going to get you.I was scared as hell.I went to deep down into Mexico when I was 14 and I remember these old houses and kids saying that the weeping lady haunt's there at night.
Hey Richard! Sorry for delay in writing here! I didn't realize that the story of the weeping woman extended all around Mexico. That would've really freaked me out as a kid - actually now too haha. It's a sad story of her searching for her children.
Yes her story goes way back,I first heard of her in the 1960's when I was a kid .She wears all black with a vale over her face. She roams near river banks dark places and towns looking for her children.I guess what really gets people is her cry, people who claim to have seen her say she has a horrible cry ,and that is what freaks people out.I never heard of her hurting anyone,or if she is ugly, because she wears a vale over her face so It's hard to see her face.I've always heard she comes out in the evening and roams through the night.Trust me everyone in Mexico has heard of her,and most I would say all Mexicans here in the USA.But you have to say the word in Spanish La llorona maybe I spelled it wrong ,but anyway you have to say it in Spanish, because if you say it in English they may think it's a different story all together .My self when I heard you say the Weeping lady in the video ,I wasn't sure what you were talking about .but i put 2 and 2 together weeping lady and you being in Mexico,I said she's talking about La llorona.
That's interesting to hear more about the story. Thanks for sharing that. I think I did say La Llorona in the video but it's possible I mispronounced it.
Hey Jorge! Sorry for delay in writing here! haha I think it's funny when we learn so much about places we visit and not necessarily where we live. For me and Canada too ;)
I love Guanajuato city, I love the vibe there
