I was listening to Nightcore and saw this in reccomended. While the page was loading all I could think was ''Please be TFK. PLEASE be TFK.'' My favorite band, and you uploader, have made my day.
GreenGlasses I love RWBY, I can hardly wait for the next volume. The animation is pretty nice, especially the action, but the dialog animation was left a little lacking. Despite that, it was great!

I'm not actually trolling. I'm completely serious. This has more views than the original TFK version and it pisses me off that this shit that literally sounds like something from an anime gets more attention.
I see your point, but lets look at this rationally. If this version is getting more attention, then there must be a reason why the nightcore is getting more attention the the original from the creators. One reason could be that, by popular vote, the nightcored version just sounds better. Financially for the artist this isn't the best, but it is actually still good. Because some version of the bands song is popular, people will go and check out and maybe buy the song. If nightcore was being sold then it could be an issue, but I haven't seen any like that. Another reason could be that the band isn't all that well known, and when some of the larger nightcore channels find the song and nightcore it, the sheer number of people who will see is just larger leading to getting more attention. This is actually great for the band. This is free publicity in what ever scope the nightcore channel is. People will see this song that they never heard before, and probably wouldn't have if the song hadn't been nightcored. And like previously, some people will go back to the original and buy it. A different reason could be that its just dumb luck. Or maybe youtube's algorithms just like the shorter song, and promote it more than the original. I don't think it will be too big of a deal. Having a more successful nightcored version shouldn't be to big of a deal to the success of the original; again it should only really help. Maybe the issue here isn't financial maybe its artistic pride that someone else can take your hard earn work and change it slightly to get more of a reward. I can definitely see how this could be upsetting, but this provides useful information to the artists. People seem to like their songs more faster paced. Maybe the next song they make could be a faster song than they usually do. Maybe the issue is that an anime version of something is doing better than it's non anime original. To this there isn't really an answer. The fact is that this version for what ever reason is working better. You can either complain about it and annoy people, or accept that weeaboo's stylistic preferences are valid. I'd love to see artists release several versions of all their songs nightcored to various levels. That way the original artists can fully use their IP, and I can buy nightcore. The only problem being lovely people like Le Forkkie who make nightcore would have less of a niche.
