Well basically the "Thief they let into their head" and the "Wall" are the same thing, basically their inner demons that up to this point they maybe didn't know how to cope without, but finally they are saying "Enough! I don't want the pain and sadness your lies cause. I don't need you anymore." Our fears and insecurities can sometimes feel like a safe zone, when in reality they just keep us chained up and numb, instead of living life. Basically the song is saying I am done with living like that, I am gonna believe that there is hope and try to really live my life.
