Dr Willen, in the beginning I could see that when Cindy was standing straight, she was pulling to the left side in the hip area and it wasn’t cause she was doing it on purpose but cause of her sciatica. I’ve had a sciatica pain on and of twice on my left side of the hip and you’ve helped dramatically on our last visit with teaching me how to use a tennis 🎾ball to stretch that part and in no time it was gone. I don’t know how Cindy could live with that pain for 7 years and I have a high tolerance for pain cause I deal with endometriosis and ileitis for more than 15 years, it’s really tough, especially living with a burning pain almost every day and you can’t reach to do anything. Thank you 🙏Dr Doug for your passion, talented hands, love, caring, listening, doing everything that you could, your best, being honest and giving hope, you’re absolutely awesome 👏. God bless you, we love, grateful and thankful for you, enjoy the rest of your week doc.
This is me. I had 7 months of bed rest. 10 years later, I still need to stretch, my left hip is better but I can't sleep on it, and my legs are misaligned so I do have chiropractor visits. It's not like yours. I know she is much happier. 👍👏
@@DrDougWillenHouseofChiro Thank you. Fortunately the sciatica is finally gone now, by a former chiropractor I saw in 2007. It comes and goes, but I remember the pain at its worst.
Dr. Willen has the best table for chiro in my opinion. When I meet a chiro w/ a table like this I automatically know they care & usually have great attention to detail.
@@sabinekoch3448 Awful time Sabine I bet, the worse is the pain down the leg, I was limping , I felt like a 90 year old.. hope like me it hasn’t come back for you 🙏🏻🌹
Your amazing. I wish I was able to come see you. I'm in so much pain everyday with the sciatica. I seen someone so e years ago and he made it worse for me. I was afraid to go back to any chiropractor. Your the best
Hey Doc, great video. She handled your elbow like a champ. I have a question. What is the purpose of the drop table? Is it to limit the force of the adjustment on the joint since it’s going P to A?
the number one reason, is it gives speed/acceleration, and then when the table bottoms out, the force gets 2-5x, without the patient perceiving the force. The little portable drop devices that I have used in a few videos are called, "Speeder Boards". Speed, is often the trick to getting a stubborn area to release.
@@DrDougWillenHouseofChiro interesting…so it’s basically the complete opposite of what I said. That makes sense after you explained it. Somehow I still passed physics class in HS. 😂
I was able to get rid of my lower back problem after 5 years of pain. After a dozen of doctors that tried to get me into the usual surgery solution, found one that recommended me a "normal" belt, and oh my gosh, I couldn't believe that after 1 week of wearing it the pain was gone... It's been months since then and now I barely wear it anymore... my herniated disc somehow retracted and healed. Try to find a good belt that pushes the spine upwards and I bet you will get rid of your back problem.
Mine has been 10 years for a bad hit and run (literally he ran out his truck and went to hide in a parking lot because it was his 4th DUI) Nothing is working for mine it's getting worse especially sitting working from home and laying down. My leg swells and I can tell I have fluid in my lower back. All I got was a ibuprofen shot and a muscle relaxer which doesn't work. I tried all the exercises and it lasts for 2 seconds and back to pain. I wish Dr. Doug was close to me. This pain is excruciating and hard to walk now.
Poor Cindy 7 years. 😱 I'm sure she will be back. Cindy is a woman of few words but you could tell after the Y Strap she really liked that. It's amazing how far off our legs can get 😲 great job Dr Doug. Have a great night. Ohh word of the day... Gimpy! 🤗
So the vibrational instruments you're using on Cindy prior to manipulating her skeleton (forgive my pedestrian description ) is to loosen up the muscles holding things in place? Besides that, who doesn't want even legs? 😆
Hi Laura, percussion massage devices increase range of motion and flexibility, and decrease soreness and stiffness, it allows the user to loosen muscle and fascia.😀 Thanks for connecting.

Wow endometriosis and ileitis as well, tough! so sorry Emma. Thank you for the best support.
You could tell by the way she was giggling that she felt better with every adjustment! 7 years is a long time to deal with pain. Good job Doc!

@@DrDougWillenHouseofChiro Hey doc the Y strap wasn't done properly
You may need to build muscle in certain parts of your body. Physio can help with muscle imbalances.
I've had sciatica is the past so I know what the pain is like ... I'm glad you were able to give her the much needed relief!
I‘m glad too, sorry to hear for your sciatica. Thanks for watching the video Melissa.

My chiropractor does a lot of these exercises with me! Haven't seen any of those instruments before...probably would feel great after a while
