I feel like the reason for the 100 dallor being a month of pay is likely because every time Mordecai and Rigby destroy something, it comes out of there pay.
@@Topidoit Skips is said to handle the park's finances, he probably has many investments he's sitting on that he built up over the many decades. He could probably retire pretty much indefinitely off of those investments.
Skips is a yeti which are native to the himalaya. Even though Tibet was an independent region at the time he might still appear as Chinese on an American census
Cool video. When I was 7 I unironically wanted my adult life to be like Mordecai and Rigby's, work/live at a nice park, go out with friends, drive golf carts and have cool stuff happen to me. I'm 20 now and it isn't nearly as exciting as it seems and the only sort of exciment and euphoria I get out of life is whenever I am with my boyfriend lol.
They live in a big beautiful house with television for free in a beautiful park so i think it is very fair for having to rake leaves and taking out the trash
@@pogobod2128 I checked again and they changed it. They get paid about $100 per month. Doing the math, (assuming that we’re using a 30-day month) that’s about $3.38 per day. Diving that by 24, that’s $0.15. That’s even lower than I thought.
To be fair to Skips’ wage, he potentially was there when his contract was made. If he included like “annual 15% pay raise that adjusts with inflation” and be significantly higher in pay than the others.
Im pretty sure Skips was around for the American Revolution, which did not occur in California. Also, I'm pretty sure Maylard would have to pay extra for Skips seniority and merit.
I'm pretty sure they're saying $100 is roughly their left over extra pay after bills and paying for whatever they've broken and had to pay to fix. Aka a month of fun money
Should’ve finished the video, Benson at $35 an hr at 70k a year? I get California is expensive, but in 2007 that kind of money could get you a house in Cali for 2024 Midwest prices.
3:45 you act like everyone could or would buy a iPhone or even a smart phone in general right when they came out. Flip phones were still pretty common in the early 2010s.

Considering the amounts of destruction of: Benson's car, The entire house, Park, Benson's apartment and many other stuff i can believe it
The fact they still get any money shows the rest probably get like 10,000 per month
Skip's 401k is gunna be crazy when he retires
Lol, he probably has the first 401k ever 😅
@@kschlatt it's surprisingly recent at 1972
How do you calculate the pension for an immortal being?
@@Topidoit i honestly feel like a video could be made on skips and how his immortality affects stuff like this.

Good point
In my experience not everyone adopted smartphones right away. My first phone was a flip phone in 2010, I didn't get a smartphone until 2014.
Also, it could be an old video.
dawg this image was NOT needed 😭😭😭7:46
But it was necessary

You just a hater
You don’t get euphoria at the idea of a free house that comes with your job?
Bro Skips 401k gotta go dumbfoundedly crazy
The IRS would make a killing on fees if he withdrew early
7:05 The Regular Show fandom wiki actually states that they make about $0.63 per hour. No joke.
That’s wild
@@Randograph On god. No wonder why they slack off and hate Benson’s guts.

Conclusion: Everyone is poor AF, Except for Mr. Maellard
Although, they're rich in their local county
Pays to be the boss
None of them are poor, especially as the groundskeepers don't pay for room or board.
The POPS refrence is wild...blew my mind and it makes total sense
I imagine the show exists in a world where inflation didn’t balloon by the start of the 21st century.

You right, regular show can be pretty loose with its continuity
Perhaps he moved west after the revolution, though the California region was not in a economically profitable state until the 19th century

That’s fair
If I got paid with inflation, I would be making twice my salary. The number is almost the same as numbers I found from 2004
Benson couldn't survive 2024 California housing prices. dude would be gone gone
Such an underrated channel
Thanks, maybe someday my channel will be overrated

Honestly im just glad this show is getting attention, not as many people talk about it as other shows, and thats just sad.
Fingers crossed for the reboot
Before even watching the video, I must admit it absolutely pays to work at the park. You get a free home.
It be pretty sick, as long as your not sleeping on a mini trampoline like rigby
