As an urban Pennsylvanite your math seems off. Theres huge cost discrepancies in rentals based on things like location and amenities. You also didn’t factor in aspects like savings - something Pim and Alan would seem more likely to partake in than Charlie, who seems like the sort to mostly spend what he makes. Basically a the average rent for smaller places in Philly and Pittsburg get bloated by the large amount of luxury options of similar size that seem out of sync with the general life styles of the smiling friends. Pim’s bedroom seems fairly small so assuming its 1br he’s probably more in the $1200 - $1500 range depending on things like neighborhood and amenities Alan’s apartment seems nicer but his landlord (and not the property manager) being around makes it seem likely it isn’t a corporately managed property. Alan is also pedantic enough of a person to make this distinction. The building might have like a shared laundry room but probably doesn’t have a tenant office or pool, etc. so $1500 - $1800 is a fair bet. Ive never seen a studio go for as much as $1400 in Philly that wasn’t attached to like a pool and a tenant exclusive lounge and private security, which really doesn’t seem like the vibe of Charlie’s place so probably closer to the range of $1000 - $1300 I think its likely Pim is making about $52000 while Charlie makes about $48000. Pim doesn’t seem like an amazing negotiator but also like he would be more financially responsible while ALSO shelling for a nicer place and neighorhood while Charlie is probably living in the cheapest place he can tolerate to put more money towards drinking and gaming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Alan made significantly more both based on life style but also the very likely scenario that Alan would be able to accurately track and pitch his earning potential to the boss.

Glep is their social media manager. At least, to me it makes the most sense. He’s the most tech savvy. Could be a computer tech too. I dunno.

I think these are gross undervalues for 2 reasons: 1. The group members love working at their jobs and mention that often. Someone who makes $50k-$60k a year is generally looking for other opportunities. Thus, they must be making a solid enough income that they love their jobs and can spend their leisure complacent without looking for other jobs. 2. Mr. Boss mentions daily how “loves his boys.” The feelings seem to be mutual. Since we know that Mr. Boss is a billionaire (marrying Satan’s daughter + he mentioned he is down $2.4 billion after frowning friends moved in), their would be a pervasive anger if he made so much and his employees were getting relatively nothing. I think it is safe to sayHe for sure gives them generous bonuses and pays them more than that.
