I had a ‘64 Buick Wildcat… loaded… back in the day (1971) when I was in college. You may not be aware… that that does not appear to be factory air conditioning on this car…. and I’m not just talking about the non-factory, missing A-6 GM compressor only. Although the center air conditioning factory-type outlet IS there… the two round a/c register/outlets on the far ends (left & right) of the dash are not present… which always would be on a factory air-conditioned car. This car has aftermarket rectangular plastic vents down below the dash. But likely most importantly… the controls for an air conditioned ‘63 & ‘64 Buick cars, were in the center of the heater controls to control the a/c temperature cool to cold, and further… it was the switch to start the a/c compressor. This vehicle does not have that either.
Since I can’t say I’ve seen every single air-conditioned Buick produced in 1964… I can not say 100% that this car wasn’t produced with factory air… but the fact that it is missing the factory air conditioning controls, the circular metal & plastic dash vents/registers, and the configuration under hood is not factory and has definitely been reworked… my opinion is that this is not a factory air-conditioned car. Still an exceptionally nice looking ‘64 Buick Wildcat coupe.

I want this car. The yellow makes it special - I’ve only ever seen it in a hideous blue. This one is GORGEOUS - I would drive it every day here in Houston and people would be astonished.

@SaltLife I am in Houston, not Waco. I live in a condo and don’t own a gun.

Nice car, not a fan of that color. Those Buick Nailheads are legendary, tons of torque and good horsepower. Is that factory air or aftermarket?

Aftermarket added on air cond. it’s a nice car but for a Wildcat, really a stripper. No Factory Air, power windows and the standard interior. The warranty guy who butts in reminds me of a Cal Worthington commercial!

NEVER liked the questionable workmanship and GODAWFUL handling of 60's G.M. "rides" (BOTH HORRID!) However, a survivor does DESERVE RESPECT!

These were well made cars. You must be thinking of the crap 1970's Vega and 1980's GM cars.
