Thank you for watching and for taking the time to acknowledge the review. I always look forward to seeing what comes next, each new line of pure socks has improved markedly on the last and it's great to see. Best of luck with this elite line.
i will buy some when they do the whiteout/blackout like the Pro version. I hate the contrasting branding on the back. thanks for the review, these look great
I do love the whiteout blackout as well. I'm sure they'll release eventually. I tend not to review those because it's really hard to see the grip elements 😂
Been waiting to get something with the new logo on it! The Unisport member sale was the perfect opportunity 😂. It's a really nice quality top too, select have done very nicely It is a little transformers as well, which I didn't realize until just now 😂😂.
As I say in the video, technically things like liiteguard and skill socks flex pro also use a silicone based element, so they would be the best in category really. Pure Elite is a different style of sock with a silicone element to those

F**k grip socks 😂 biggest scam ever, been playing for 30 years now, can tell regular socks cost less and do the same job, just get right size boot and u won't need them.😂
Regular socks do indeed cost less, however they don't do the same thing. There are grip socks that in my opinion are worse than regular socks and you're better off with just a standard pair of Nike Crew socks (hence the tier list naming) but there are also grip socks that are very enjoyable to wear and also give you a more stable and comfortable feeling, or if it's your preference a more compressive feeling, some offer better sweat wicking, they have their advantages if you get the right ones, hence why I review them alongside boots in the hope of directing people to the right ones. So, scam, I think is very harsh on the market as a whole, and grip socks are absolutely not necessary but also do offer something in the cases of the good ones. The key is buying the good ones. I do agree with you on boot sizing though, that is far more important than grip socks and if you have to choose between spending more money on boots or buying grip socks, always go boots.
Yes maybe scam wasn't the right word t use, but people start thinking that you have to play with grip socks otherwise your feet will "slip" inside the boots, that is just not going to happen if you get the right size. So what are grip socks for? For people who buy the wrong size boots? I'm not calling scam anymore, i'm calling it Good Marketing.
@Nico-dr8ki even with the right size boots grip socks can help, there is still movement inside the boot in most cases, and as someone that's tested over 100 pairs of grip socks I can say that they do have an impact, especially vs those terrible socks you get at a lot of clubs. However the bigger impact in some instances is actually having the better materials that has the bigger benefit. I do agree though, good marketing does make a big difference here especially for people feeling like they NEED grip socks which absolutely isn't the case, and as I say, there are some grip socks that just absolutely make things worse! My point of view boils down to a beneficial product if you get the right ones, certainly well marketed and probably over hyped because they've become seen as a nessesity when that's very much not the case. And again, I agree boots that fit properly and suit you are far more important, but that's an entirely different conversation as in my experience a huge number of people aren't wearing the right size boots either!!
Thanks for the review! Always appreciate the support and honesty 👍

Will you make a thinner sock one day with grips on the inside too? I'd rather support my fellow Canadian than donating to Trusox. Lol
@@harvardh you might have to message Josh on this channel directly he might not see this. 👍

Awesome vid James. What are your thoughts on the gogogoal socks on amazon? They seem to be such a good deal for a really solid sock
They're actually in one of my tier list videos! Overall they're very good for the price, durability isn't amazing though
@ durability meaning easy to rip /overstretch? Sorry about the ignorance with grip socks lol
@@MrDrod7710 yeah basically, they may not last as long as other options.
Does the pure grip socks elite is generally the best in the silicon grip category? My most creative time is the last night before the deadline….

am i the only that there calfs just cramps up even time when i use grip socks in general???
You're the only person I've heard of with that issue. Odd one!!
@@BootWizard yeah i feel like I'm the only person in the world with that issue
but a great video as always!
The added grip cramps your calfs?
How long have you’ve been brainstorming for the pure shocking title😂 (no offence)
I actually only came up with that about 30 minutes before the video! The thumbnail looked totally different less than an hour before it went live!!!!
hey! can you tell me the brand/names of the 8 socks on the "foot fetish" category please?
Gotta watch the tier list videos to get that kind of info!
Here just for the hate comments/s
😂😂😂😂 ... Me too? 😂😂
Shout out to the guys who made this useless article a market
Useless is definitely a stretch, not necessary that's true, but also not useless.
