Thank you so much! I was looking for something like this! I am trying to get a pair of new grip socks for Christmas and you came up clutch with the Video!
Totally cool, I personally don't like them from a fit point of view and I don't think they offer good value for money, but if you've found something that works for you that's all that matters and my opinion on them absolutely doesn't matter, keep rocking the TruSox 👍
Original wefoot thin sock is definitely my favorite gripsock ever. Especially a great option for tight fitting boots. I was sold on them as soon as I heard they researched the grip pods based off of octopus suction cups haha
Hi, I was just wondering what are some boots that have a thin upper and offer that barefoot feel. I’m a keeper and this massively helps me when taking goal kicks. Any advice on some boots I should be looking at?
Great question, glad you've found something that you like in touch terms. I'd say currently from the big main brands the Puma Ultra Ultimate, The Nike Mercurial Vapor 16 Elite and the Adidas F50 are good shouts. I'd also say the Sokito Scudetta is well worth looking at. Usually, things that brands market as a "speed boot" tend to have a more barefoot touch and feel.
Hey bootwizard , recently bought some wefoot socks , no complaints, completely in love , quick question tho , am i missing out not having the apex in the sock collection. I recently picked up a pair of pure grip elit socks and was disappointed in the internal slipping due to not having grips on the inside.have you noticed any problem like that with the apex ??.
The APEX have an exoframe system which is designed to prevent internal slippage, it's one of the best solutions I've seen for not having internal grips. Totally get the issue with the Pure Elite and the internal slippage and I can just say the APEX is better in that regard.
Great video ,only problem I can see is these are great for training but unless your team colours are black or white then you won’t be able to wear them in a game as even local leagues are even clamping down on this (can’t see them all being available in different colours ) some of these would be expensive just to wear to train ,will be looking at picking a couple of the Japanese ones up when I go next year
Yeah some have colours like the liiteguard, but the majority offer white or black only. I've personally found at my level nobody really cares, but for sure depending on your league it might cause an issue.
Truesox comfort are just on a different level but we foot is very very close I love the thin version it blown the thin trusox out of the water. Thank you for the kickstarter we foot I was able to snag 5 for that huge discount and ironically one of them ripped while playing and we foot sent me a brand new pair no questions asked. I love the brand and attention to customer!
Great to hear you're loving the wefoot. I'm really not a fan of the TruSox at all personally, I think the fit is very poor for a very expensive sock, but everyone has preferences. Glad you've found what you like.
Good question, but, before we begin, I must say I appreciate being Sir Gandalf. The thinnest you could probably toss a coin between the WeFoot Lite, the Liiteguard and the Skillsocks Pro: Flex. The WeFoot Lite probably have the thinnest foot bed (then skillsocks then liiteguard), but the Skillsocks and Liiteguard might actually have a slightly thinner neck to the sock.
@@BootWizard Thank you very much for those specifics, it's exactly what I needed -- footbed is the important aspect to me. :) You're the GOAT, Gandalf.
Ive tried most grip socks and trusox thin is still the king imo. Im curious about those wefoot socks tho. On to your boots...are those mizuno alpha elites or japan? Will they fit wide feet?? Thanks 🙏
TruSox generally don't do it for me, I think they're overpriced and don't have a great fit across the board, but plenty of people like them so that's totally cool, got to find what you like. Those are the Alpha Japan and generally I'll say they're good for wide feet, most Mizuno boots are built with the wider flatter Asian foot in mind and do a good job for wide footed people generally.
I have yeah, they're in the middle tier, I ranked them in one of my longer tier ranking videos. Not a bad sock, but when you break it down it's essentially a nice crew sock with decent silicone elements. Which is very much a middle tier design.
The Suregrip and the Pure Grip Elite from this list are probably 2 of the thickest feeling socks and both are good. The Suregrip is a lot better but also a lot more expensive.
I’ll have to make a note of that. Found out yesterday I’ve done my ACL and meniscus and done a bit of damage to my PCL as well so it’s going to be a long time until I get back on pitch. Especially because I get married in March so I’m going to have to wait until after that before I get surgery because I’ll not be in good shape for that life event even if I had surgery right now I’d be pushing it.
@@peterianstaker5386 well congratulations on getting married I hope that all goes well and great to hear. But, of course I hope you're back on the pitch soon too.
@@hoshhenry7767 grip isn't really the issue with them, and like I say, not bad socks, I gave them a good review, but hard for most people who watch my channel to get hold of.
There's no such thing really, it's about personal preference and what you like and what you're looking for. If you want to know my favourite it's the liiteguard
I haven't reviewed them because they seem very expensive for something that looks very gimmicky. But I'm only basing that on what I've seen. Haven't tried them

The answer is probably the skillsocks pro: flex, they're 20 eur or £16, I know I'm cheating a bit because I haven't included shipping there but they're going to be the best thin sock for a good price. They're a lot cheaper than going wefoot or liiteguard or falke which are all 30 eur+
@@BootManSam glad you're liking the APEX, the skillsocks are much thinner than that and a really nice sock imo. Do remember if youwant more APEX you've got the members 20% off which works on top of other discounts too. 👍

I think you might be exaggerating a bit there! As mentioned definitely not the grippiest socks out there and I did look for them to provide more grip in the initial testing but they do a good job, good socks with some welcome additional grip.
@ look ik that you have a partnership but these socks are just ultra slippy 😭 maybe comfortable, maybe light weight and the idea is good but it doesnt check the main objectif of a grip socks pair
@@iiro500 I only partner with brands that have products that I like, hence why you see them on this list and not on many others, these are the socks I like and think perform well. I search out partnerships once I like the brands, very rarely the other way around. Feel free to go and watch my full review, where I quite clearly mention, as I do in this video that the socks are not the grippiest socks available and I would like to see more grip, however, I repeat, I think you're exaggerating by saying they're ultra slippy and Nike crew socks have more grip.

Best socks for winter to keep toes warm? I’m considering trying the Vypr5 Adventure made with merino wool.
Well worth considering, or the merino liiteguard
I bought the wefoot after I watched your review! Thanks
Hope you like them
