It was kinda obvious that Yukari loved Arata, but she should have gone about it in a better way. But it's behind them now, so they can develop a better relationship together, especially with Yukari's parents' support and approval.
I think that the happy ending is about possible positive changes that will happen and can make their lives much better together. What else one should expect from such plot?
This could've been fixed with a simple; "I love him and that's why I want to marry him" if you take a guy who seems dead inside and never show proper affection and all your "approaches" are filled with rude words and orders, no wonder he will think he's just a servant, I've seen histories where the FMC acts rudely towards her fianceé or childhood crush, but even if they were together for 10+ years she never said "I love you" properly. Kinda hate it when the guy in the story is treated as some "dense and dull" guy and even told so from the people around him, but when you see the context of the protagonists you go like "Bullshit", wish they'd stop pinning the blame on an innocent MC and just encouraging stories where the FMC "did nothing wrong"

I kind of liked that. Yukari is a bit pushy and spoiled, and her parents didn't help much. They did try a little, but Yukari is so headstrong that they would give in to her. Now, as Arata matures and becomes a man, he's putting his foot down and forcing Yukari to grow up too. I think they may just have a future after all. Her treating Arata as a servant may not have been such a bad thing. It gave him the strength he needed to be able to say enough is enough and not allow her to push him around anymore. Now all she needs is to push his buttons some more until he bends her over his knee and spanks her butt, teaching her some humility and manners.😁

(Especially if he breaks the relationship without explaining why) After the breakup she could easily find another man (perhaps her father arranged an arranged marriage for her) and before he became "worthy" she could already be close to marrying someone. If ha he omitted his iron belief that he was a slave but pointed only to that he "felt like a slave" to her, that would have made more sense. #2 But we see that the boy is not very smart. How could he think she wanted to marry him to have a servant? Especially if the girl clearly stated that in her plans, after the wedding, the boy would become his father's successor in the business. Surely it's not destiny for a person considered a slave.

Actions speak louder than words. (to be honest, actions are like shouting, whereas words are like whispering.) Treating someone like 💩/garbage/scum shouts "I HATE/LOATHE YOU!!!" Treating someone with kindness and respect says "I like you" (not necessarily "I love you.". "I love you." also requires showing affection.) If someone treated me like 💩garbage/scum, I avoided that person as much as possible, interacting with him or her only when absolutely necessary, such as if assigned to work together on a school or job assignment. If the person tried to interact with me more than that, I would ask them straight out: "You obviously hate me. Why don't you leave me alone? I don't bother you, or talk about y behind your back. Why can't you do the same?" If that person later told me "I really love you!!!" If a girl, I would tell her: "I find that hard to believe. You have treated me like scum/trash since the moment we met. If you loved me -- or just liked me a little bit, you would have treated me like a human. I am sorry, but I have no romantic feelings for you, nor do I consider you a friend. You are an acquaintance. Treating someone like 💩/garbage/scum shouts "I HATE/LOATHE YOU!!!"
Treating someone with kindness and respect says "I like you" (not necessarily "I love you.". "I love you." also requires showing affection.)
If someone treated me like 💩garbage/scum, I avoided that person as much as possible, interacting with him or her only when absolutely necessary, such as if assigned to work together on a school or job assignment.
If the person tried to interact with me more than that, I would ask them straight out: "You obviously hate me. Why don't you leave me alone? I don't bother you, or talk about y behind your back. Why can't you do the same?"
If that person later told me "I really love you!!!" If a girl, I would tell her: "I find that hard to believe. You have treated me like scum/trash since the moment we met. If you loved me -- or just liked me a little bit, you would have treated me like a human. I am sorry, but I have no romantic feelings for you, nor do I consider you a friend. You are an acquaintance. We know each other's name, but have never really interacted with each other. Have a nice life."
If a guy, I would tell him: "I appreciate your feelings, but I'm sorry. I am only interested in an intimate relationship with a woman."
I, honestly, don't really understand why everyone here tells, that FMC was bullying or even manipulating MC. Yeah, her choice of words was not the best, but not the worst either. I really don't get how some people can't see the appeal of a tsundere, specially one like this type, which is more of a himedere, how are their standards of abuse so low that they call this "being treated like garbage", first thing she did was dress him up in new clothes, even if her words were not kind, and I'm sure that if he had a put a bit of resistance whenever she gave him an order, she would have stopped doing so, she just felt he didn't mind and went with it, until he finally started going against her words which was a bit of a shock to her, but yeah, Idk I find it cute, maybe I'm just an stockom symdrome victim. So as far as I can see they're both a little dumb and bad with their emotions. Could the parents have handled this better and helped them with their rather obvious feelings for each other, yes, but these sorts of things are often overlooked even in real life. Seriously as a romcom and seeing it in that perspective it's overtly cliched, but not awful. If the story was longer or had multiple parts it would have been better to show their bad relationship as kids, their breaking apart, and then the reveal of their feelings and coming back together. I think that slow build is what this story would have needed to make it really good.
Ok In another scenario the MC would just cut contact with the FMC and she would be sad and empty
