My sisters were born in the 80s and were about 7/8ish when the original It came out. So they were terrified of clowns for a bit just based on the trailers (I'm not sure if they ended up watching it at the point, my oldest sister was a Stephen King fan though). And one time at a carnival, my mom tried to pay one of the facepainting clowns to sneak up on my sisters and go 'hey kids, wanna play?' in the Pennywise voice. Guy looked at my mom and was like 'lady that's messed up'

I didn't think I would share this but my brother told me to so why not This was when me and my big brother were 19 and 17 we were walking from our girlfriends houses and it was around 9 pm we begin walking through the woods it was a shortcut to our childhood house ten minutes later my brother grabs my arm and tells me to stop walking and I see the absolute fear on his face he then says something that made me frozen In my tracks there were two CLOWNS in bushes behind us they rush us now me and my brother being 5 ft 7 we fight the clowns and I call the cops the cops drive us home as we call our parents they are waiting at the front door worried sick our parents thank the officers for escorting us home we never go out alone without our pocket tasers or our pocket knives I hope to this day I never see a killer clown again

Last night I was walking my dogs. Clowning in our town has become a norm over the last week. So when I crossed into the park over by a street light I saw one of these freaks. I started whistling, but I just started running at him instead, I wasn't going to really attack, just see what he'd do. So he actually started to run away from ME. He ran off into the woods and I laughed basically the whole way home.
