STORY NUMBER TWO (2) - that picture was taken in Cumberland, Maryland, at the old Western Maryland train station museum platform. I actually spent a night there, sleeping on a bench just feet from that exact railcar when I was on a trip and had no where to stay. a little after midnight, I got kicked out by police and they told me I was gonna get killed if I stayed there any longer. Cumberland is no joke, there is a very high security prison just a few miles outside town, and when people get released from prison and have no where to go, they participate in criminal activities in Cumberland. As soon as the sun goes down, you better stand under a streetlight by a busy road or something, because the people there are not to be messed with, they'll come for you in the dark, seriously.
I live in Baltimore, MD. The prison in Cumberland is where a lot of the murderers and other violent criminals with long or Life sentences are held. having dealt with a whole ton of sleep paralysis and seperately the stuff that happened during... it's almost 1 to 1 in terms of feeling. that's not to say what causes sleep paralysis, since the theories for it are theories.
@@spongmongler6760 I had sleep paralysis throughout my childhood/young adult years too. For me it was bang on, especially when he mentioned the spinning. I thought spatial confusion from waking up before your body did was fact, and not theory? Either way, I only meant to point out the humor, not to discredit the author. Hope it didn't come off that way.
@@CleoHarperReturns I meant what you feel when you get touched and "all the stuff" during SP is the exact same feeling when it's not - sort of adds to the horror when people think it doesn't feel that bad. it's theorised that its your body and brain not being in line with each other during changing sleep levels or whatever, but what actually causes it is either exact (mental health), the rest is unknown for the actual reasons. some people think it's like insomnia - also adds to the horror if it's neither of those things. unless it's changed in the last 3 years, that's what I know of.

I'm from Arkansas but much higher up in the Ozarks and it's actually not uncommon to come across gravesites in the middle of the woods. The last time it happened to me, it was the grave of an 8 year old girl and it was more far unsettling than any of the others I'd ever encountered. We had heard a kid laughing and were baffled that a child, especially a little girl, would be out that far alone so we assumed it had to be an adult that had their daughter with them or something along those lines. We were curious so we decided to walk in the direction of the laughter and it continued to get louder to the point that we knew we had to be really close, especially when we could hear someone running around. It sounded like we were probably within 50 feet of where they should have been when it suddenly stopped. After meandering through some thorn bushes, we came up on her headstone and were immediately freaked out by it -- despite graves like that (though typically adults) not being uncommon -- because of the disembodied laughter we'd clearly heard. I'm not saying there was a little ghost girl laughing in the middle of the woods, but I can say that there definitely wasn't anyone out there other than us. Edit: typo
The second story was really disturbing of how the silhouette of the man following the group was just casually standing there in the background, couldn’t have guessed where he is

That pest control inspector was trash. I work for a national pest company for the last 5 years. My specialty is rodent inspections. When I go up in an attic I searched every single inch of that attic. Because I'm a smaller female I can get to a lot of areas that normal guys cant. A lot of the inspectors not just in my company but a lot of the companies are older heavier men and they get lazy. All they do is pop their head up and look around. I can almost guarantee that's what happened in this story. They just popped their head up. I think I would freak out though if I came across a human in the attic. In the past 5 years I've only come across a squirrel twice and a group of bats. The bats were pretty awesome because they started flying around. I felt like Batman in that scene where he has all the bats around him in that tunnel. I'm also surprised if he was living in the attic there wasn't any other evidence of soda cans, food, bathroom areas and smells.🤷♀️🤷♀️
Nices stories! For story #4: - The picture is in low light, so all this is a slow shutter speed creating motion blur. - This means any light source will create a trail of light as we see beside the lamp. Kind of like when doing light painting with a camera (I did a lot). - You can notice the blury effect on the head of the man to the left, his head and beanny is not sharp, this is due to camera shake and slow shutter speed because of low light. - A flash would have frozen the scene for a split second but a phone in this low light just does not have a sensor big enough (or lens does not have aperture large enough too) to get sufficient light to get a shutter speed fast enough to avoid motion blur. - Unless using a flash, or the phone/camera being on a tripod or placed on a stable surface at the right angle AND the subjects not moving at all, this was unavoidable. Camera basics.😉

Mr. Nightmare, thanks for the video. As I commented on the last video, I love when you have pictures or videos to go along with the stories. It just brings things into perspective more. Story 1: It probably was just Billy Bob Yahoo messing with them, trying to scare them out of his hunting area. 🤷♀️ Story 2: If someone is behind your friends with a knife, at least make them aware of the situation. 🤦♀️ Story 3: Mice and rats in the walls or attic can be pretty loud, but always check things out for yourself. Don't rely on others to do it for you. 🤔 Story 4: Anytime you attempt to make contact with the spirit world you're opening the door for anything to come through. 👹 Story 5: When Urbexing, you never know what you might come across. 😬 😇

you should make a video covering other people's stories with updates when they say, "if anything happens, I'll leave an update" at the end if they actually did leave one
Story 4 is very relatable to me. Ever since I was a child, I’d hear a train noise from my pillow when I was trying to sleep. This is was often accompanied by nightmares, some of these being sleep paralysis type ones as well. Where I lay in my bed conscious but unable to move, seeing things that aren’t there, but are. I sometimes challenged the things as well, the migraines I used to get from them were painful.

All pitbulls are huge babies. They're useless as guard dogs for that very purpose. They want to love on everyone. You can leave a pitbull alone with a toddler or infant and have nothing to worry about. They'll protect that child with their life. I've raised pitbulls for years, and everyone that's gotten one from me has commented on how sweet and loving they are. If they had one, their only fault they might have is that they tend to think they're lap dogs. Having a large 60+ pound dog on your lap usually doesn't work well for either of you.

That guy in the forth story went to the store, came home and just threw the shopping bag in the floor and went to bed? He deserves a haunting for that.
It was a girl-Sasha

It's great seeing photos of the events that took place,it greatly adds to the atmosphere of the story.
Story 4: Describes sleep paralysis perfectly, then continues to say, "I don't know if this is some sort of sleep paralysis..."😆
having dealt with a whole ton of sleep paralysis and seperately the stuff that happened during... it's almost 1 to 1 in terms of feeling.
that's not to say what causes sleep paralysis, since the theories for it are theories.
@@spongmongler6760 I see what you mean now. You're right, it does add to the horror. It's definitely a topic worthy of more thought and conversation. So -- are you the author?
@@CleoHarperReturns no, literally the only thing in common with the guy is access to a pc and vaguely human.
haha, in the first story that was definitely a raven. they can immitate human speech better than a parrot and they like saying 'hey' specifically because that's how humans greet each other and ravens picked up on that.

Mr Nightmare is the king. One of the only story tellers I never get tired of.
This is the *therapy* I need for my anxiety. Plus it really makes me feel better that I'm not like the people on here that do the crazy stuff they do. Not the good people having fun, the bad people that are messing with the good people that are having fun.
I'm absolutely in agreement with the roommate in Story 4 when he said 'don't bring that shit in here!'. Don't go tramping around a cemetery taunting dead folks and then bring that energy back to the apartment.
I love these videos, even better when they have photos or videos attached, but I also just like hearing you describe the stories, overall just trying to say I love your vids
Thanks for hearting it :)
Spraying for mice and you don't notice a human being living in the attic. I hope that guy was fired. How lazy and incompetent.
The story is BS, that's the answer
It's so relieving to have these videos to listen to. Just finished my 3rd 12 hour shift in a row yesterday only to sleep and have a dream about working another shift. The dream felt as long and normal as a regular shift. The scary part is that I dont get paid for working in my dream.

@@bradleyboyer9979you got something here I think. So many are the same or very close.
Edit: typo
The scariest part about that is knowing there are people who never leave the Ozarks.
PS: Branson is fucking cold right now (;
The second story was really disturbing of how the silhouette of the man following the group was just casually standing there in the background, couldn’t have guessed where he is
What the guys in the middle of the street light or just a illusion?

For story #4:
- The picture is in low light, so all this is a slow shutter speed creating motion blur.
In other words, story number 4 is complete bullshit.
@@musiclover01ization Well at least for the picture part. We see what we want to see...

You guys must seek mental support. Stop pinning it on supernatural stuff and neglecting your health. Someday you will snap in other people due your negligence and beliefs. Do it so you don't become a problem to society, it isn't even for yourself.
@meaghan- buddy, I told people to seek mental support with professionals. In any capacity hearing and seeing things that aren't there is normal. Go defend your insane beliefs somewhere else.

You know Mr Nightmare will always keep us entertained more than new horror movies 🍿
