    Updates:
Several of you asking about my smallcase investmends. In Feb this year I liquidated my smallcase investments to pay off our home loan. It was the best performing asset class for me, hence the decision (its counterintuitive - the logic was i felt it was too good to be true lol)
I haven’ t yet resumed my smallcase investments and will do so in Nov 2023 (when we have cash flow coming in)
Also, I completely forgot to mention my US investments. I know I know it sounds shady because it’s the only thing that is not making money. Really sorry for missing it. Honestly not even sure how I missed it.
On an investment of $78, i am down 22% ($60k Value). I am not a seller because the investments are long term and 1-2 years is not something i will consider to conclude.

Warikoo, thanks for all your major activities. I have been a leadership development facilitator / trainer for 40+ years. Your videos have made me hone my skills further. I have followed one habit since 1975 (first job), when I read the quote below which became part of my belief system. "Fools spend money and save what is left. Wise save money and spend what is left." today at 70, I have been debt free for last 20 years. All major life initiatives are ticked off and my family will not be short of food, shelter and nice quality life for next 30 years. WHY because like Warikoo, I have believed in developing habits and make goals subset of them rather than other way round, which most of the people do. It was hard, tough and challenging on many occasions but worth it. Now I spend most of my time on my family, health and hobbies - no professional activity under my Life vision of "Enjoy recreating and sharing". Thank you for adding value to my life Warikoo.

It is always good to have a financial plan. I work with a portfolio manager and fixed income planner in the USA. The fixed income portion of your portfolio won’t simply serve as a buffer to the volatility of the equity portion of your portfolio, but will provide legitimate income.

Very true, people downplay planners role, until burnt by their mistakes. I remember just after my layoff 3 years ago amidst covid outbreak. It is only in the last 4-5 years that I have invested so much time in learning financial management. I tried to encourage my family members also to learn but they don’t seem to be interested. Great video Ankur.. My personal view is that you have spread yourself too thin in investing in multiple asset classes. Yes diversification is important but your portfolio is over diversified to the point it has become unpredictable of the cumulative returns.
Why i am saying this here is of course I know that you know what you are doing and can manage it. But there are other viewers who would get inspired and get into investing in every asset class they can lay their hands on to. I too got tempted when you spoke about venture capital investment.
To the people who are reading this remember everyone's risk appetite is different. Always invest on what is comfortable to you and helps you achieve your financial goals. Getting rich overnight doesn't work.
Conviction, Dedication, perseverance are the only true tools that will help you reach your goals.

Building wealth involves developing good habits like regularly putting money away in intervals for solid investments. Instead of trying to predict and prognosticate the stability of the market and precisely when the change is going to happen, a better strategy is simply having a portfolio that’s well prepared for any eventually, that’s how some folks' been averaging 150K every 7week these past 4months according to Bloomberg

The US-Stock Mrkt had been on it’s longest bull-run in history, so the mass hysteria and panic is relatable considering we’re not accustomed to such troubled mrkts, but there are avenues lurking around if you know where to look. My wife and I are retiring this year with over $7,000,000 in tax deferred investments. up until 3 years ago we were 100% in the S&P. During bear markets we had a perfect plan. We got an investment manager in our corner and didn’t look at our portfolio for nearly a year.

How are other people in the same market raking in over $200k gains with months, I'm really just confused at this point.

It is also very courageous of you to be so transparent about your asset declaration which again can be brutally trolled by public and other content creators.

Very inspiring, Ankurji! When banks evaluate one's net worth, they include real estate and even cars. But for practical reasons, I avoid including real estate such as primary homes, other homes, and plots in my investment calculation because they are highly illiquid, and I intend to pass them on to my subsequent generation. Additionally, I believe that real estate and gold are for consumption, and real returns come only from market-linked investments.
