    A young man, with an old head on his shoulders! So much smarter and more humane than most politicians all over this world. And, more than almost any politician, he has lived the life and walked the walk. In doing so he has earned the right for us to listen to what he has to say.

They will not admit that they do not understand, but instead will come back at you with aggressive name calling. Similar, to the reaction of Josh Simpson.

      @cherylwallacewayaunega 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      shark, I am sure that my friends who live there greatly disagree with you. They know Trevor for what he is and that is a protagonist, race baiter and an uneducated person who has sided with the libertards.

    • @nadimmiakhil
      @nadimmiakhil 7 ปีที่แล้ว +29

      waya unega I do not know Trevor personally but I can judge on his actions, behavior and the amount of knowledge he conveys through his words. I agree with him on the most he said in this interview. I respect him as a person because he does not fear to speak free his minds also against powerful personalities like trump or putin. Even though I disagree with his attitude toward russia I admire the range of wisdom he has. But if you know something very terrible about him that I dont know, feel free to speak about it. I havnt done any research on him I just know his show and the interviews he delivered.
      Greetings from germany ✌

    • @cherylwallacewayaunega
      @cherylwallacewayaunega 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Shark, he is known for being a political protagonist and race baiter who enjoys telling lies against President Trump and President Putin. These two leaders are the great duo who most people, including myself, are looking to for peace and unity in the world. When someone like Trevor speaks against them I do take offense to it. He can speak his mind, but have the decency to temper it with respect.
      Greetings from America!

    • @joshd342
      @joshd342 7 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      waya unega, "These two leaders are the great duo who most people, including myself, are looking to for peace and unity in the world." That my fellow American friend is the scariest comment I have seen in a long time. I will only speak for myself but I absolutely disagree with you. It seems like you have made many comments on this video and are very active in conversing with others, I wish you luck but also an open mind the case that you are wrong. The same goes for me.
      Cheers.

    • @clarice525
      @clarice525 7 ปีที่แล้ว +20

      waya unega, You have GOT to be kidding!! If you are relying on the empty-headed Trump and the murderous Putin for peace and unity, you must have lost every single one of your marbles. Maybe a visit with a therapist will help.

      As a non-American, I like the Daily Show & watch on TH-cam. In Europe (specifically UK, even more specifically I'm from Scotland - we have a pretty unique sense of humour!), generally it is acknowledged US 'comedy' & sense of humour is different from ours. I think that's maybe divided a bit with the whole 'world is getting smaller'/ Internet growth/ social media/ access to information etc., I think Americans who do enjoy sarcasm and more subtle humour have more choice now. But major Hollywood 'blockbusters' can still seem 'silly'-funny to us (& when I go to a movie if I visit the US, I definitely laugh at the 'wrong' times, and don't laugh when other people do. I like the added layers, I think the US is so huge and I understand why people aren't necessarily world travellers - there's so much to see in one country, and travelling us expensive. So I like how he brings a different perspective than, e.g. Seth Myers / Stephen Colbert, but also different than 'our' comedians (I guess Graham Norton on BBC America would come closest although his is definitely more talk show... 😕... I think maybe we have a clearer line between comedian & talk show, because thinking political satire I just think of comedians).
      Anyway, I think he is intelligent, I don't think he ever set out to be Jon Stewart 2.0, he was someone different, & I think that was deliberate. I like adding something different to the mix. I've heard him in things other than the Daily Show & liked his humour too - but all these hosts talk Trump right now (isn't everyone else?? my English 10-year old niece & nephew are talking about him... honestly; & yes I was surprised - it's not coming from their parents, it's talking about what they are seeing on tv, with friends! They probably couldn't name many of our politicians.)
      And he's kinda hot....

      Barnabee McGee the vehemence with which you have spewed your vitriol all over this comment section is disheartening. Accusing the left of everything the right is, hypocrisy is the name of your game. You may feel vindicated and justified by Trump's win and feel that a righteous movement has sprung up who defends people from the violent, fascist left. I can guarantee, nay, promise you that history will show you the error of your ways. Your confused self may think you're doing the right thing. You're not. You are on the wrong side of progress. Time will shine a light on your faults and reveal what the righteous really should have been. I don't hate you. You are a product of your times and environment.
      So continue what you are doing. Time will continue, the days and months will go by and one day; you will be confronted with what side of history you were on and I hope you can live with yourself.

      Gee, here is a libertard trying to use verbiage that probably took him hours to research. Good job, libertard. Now, if you can use those same research skills and discover what the right wing already knows you may actually have a chance of pulling yourself out of that dark abyss you have slid into with your left wing mentality.

      Though that wouldn't take much. No seriously, Trump may be a lot smarter than we think. That's what to be on the lookout for. He creates chaos, disharmony and division where-ever he goes. Does he do it on purpose- to pit one another against each other? That's when they are most vulnerable and weakest.

    Thank you, Al Jazeera English, for taking the time to interview Trevor Noah. Since Stewart thankfully brought him into the late night satire sphere, Noah's been an amazing wonderful voice to listen to and gain hope from. Dareen Abughaida's questioning was provocative and insightful, and she is just so engaged at all times; it's refreshing to see.

      TE BE
      well. its been weeks, but I think I can speak for my brother.
      I am a muslim. not shia. not sunni. a muslim. you cannot divide Islam. Its like dividing by zero, you fall into an infinite spiral. (lol).
      Women RULE a muslim household. they are not oppressed, rather they are empowered. Some say the burka is a sign of oppression. I think of it as more like a suit of armor against people viewing them in a wrong or compromising way. Most laws that prevent women from doing something are made to protect them. We can be VERY overprotective of women and children. I say "most" because there are some of us who are highly patriarchal, which is wrong. Islam believes men and women were created equal, we just specialise differently. Hope this answers most of your questions.

      Absolutely, and if I'm offended then I take personal inventory to examine what truths or lies my belief system is built on. Some of us need to be offended to see who we are and decide whether or not we're on the right track. What better way to self examine than through honest authentic comedy.
      Trevor and George are geniuses, their comedy is hilarious and sometimes, for some people, they are offensive. They can be labeled many ways, but they are not liers. When truth offends us, we must look inside ourselves instead of trying to judge the truth sayer. ... just say'n🤔😲🙂

    I find his ability to see the bright side in any and all situations quite remarkable. The comment he made about the corruption of the government and the unemployment rate is a testament to how great of a thinker he is. Instead of saying oh it sucks that those things are happening, he instead goes it's great that the news is free enough for this information to be reported and exposed and his statement of unemployment used to be called slavery is really amazing.
