I love your channel and what you do so much! I was just wondering; I saw that you cleaned your clay with rubbing alcohol, but all the bottles I own has a fire warning on them! Is it safe for me to clean the clay piece with rubbing alcohol before I bake it in the oven? :o Thank you so much!
🫶 Thank you so much! Yes, it is safe as long as you wait for the rubbing alcohol to dry (it supposedly evaporates quite significantly). On top of that, I work with such a small amount clay and the oven temp is actually not super high considering this!
this probably is a silly question but when baking polymer clay (like sculpey) do you have to put air holes to avoid the clay from bursting in the oven? or is it ok to keep them solid if they're small (like the sizes you make?)
as mentioned, this is the link to my small art shop! ❤ → www.yeppennydoodles.store
cheers & happy crafting! 💐🫶

Can you use clear mail polish to seal the prices afterwards if you tinted the pieces with powders ect.
I haven’t tried it myself but you might want to make sure you have one of those nail UV lights to ensure the polish hardens completely
can i use polymer clay to make bigger pieces like mugs or coasters?
Yes to coasters, but I maybe wouldn’t use it on something you will eat/drink out of unless you find a food-safe coating
