    Just bought this one and it's literally the best f@cking TV I've ever seen in my life. I was about to buy an oled LG, the C2 but this one seemed better to me overall. That brightness man is something else. This tv is everything you need in terms of picture, literally. If you're wondering just go for it all the way. Man I'm blown away by that thing 😳.

      Love to hear your experience of it... Is there motion stuttering on it and some reviews say the glare on the screen messes everything.

    • @Marioejoseph
      @Marioejoseph 2 ปีที่แล้ว +16

      @@secondopinion89 The TV is really bright. Day time or night time, it's always bright enough, and my living room gets really bright. There is some stuttering while watching fast moving low quality content or sports. Other than that there is no stutter. 4k content is mesmerizing. There isn't any Glare on the screen, there are times around 3 PM the sun shines into my living room and TV just over powers the light from the Sun. Even on a bright sunny day, the colors are accurate and does not fade away like an OLED would. I went to a showroom to look at TVs, went in to get an OLED, but after seeing it's performance in bright environments I was very disappointed. When I went in it was only 10AM, so the sun was not even at its peek and the TV was struggling. Right next to the LG C2 was the Samsung QN900B, that TV was just out shining that C2. I knew the QN900B uses the same tech and brightness levels as QN90B, so I asked the sales rep to turn on the QN90B as well. It too delivered similar amount of brightness. This being a Mini-LED the black level were also very close to OLED. So for the bright room I had, the QN90B was a cheaper and more obvious solution to my TV needs. As for in Gaming the QN90B 50' comes with AMD freesync pro at 144HZ so you are covered in the gaming department as well for the next 10 years at least. Over all I would say it's a good purchase if you need to place a TV in a bright environment and still enjoy watching TV.

    Bought a 65" QN90A this week from Best Buy Canada $1355 USD/$1799 Cdn. Any differences are so minute between the 90A vs90B that it doesn't make sense paying up $300 for the 90B.

    qn700b (8k) or qn90b? I was very undecided. I know that the 700B is 60hz and the hi-fi quality lags behind the 90b. Other than that, is there any reason why I should prefer the 90b? The quantum matrix (mini-led) densities that worry me the most and that I can't learn about. An entry-level 8k or a mid-range 4k?

    I adore David and his reviews and I know he favors OLED. However, I think that I'm done with OLED. OLED burn-in is not rare. It's a real thing. I've had two LGs and the volume up/down symbols, along with the mute indicator, got burned in. I won't even comment on the CNN or FOX channels which I rarely watch, but they have burned in as well. Come on. That's just silly and I really have to blame LG for that. Why would you create onscreen indicators so caustic and harsh that they ruin your screen? Why would you make such a wimpy screen? Did no one test these before mass production? So, I'm done with OLED until they pull themselves together. I'll go for QLED going forward.

      @wilfredogomez5505 2 ปีที่แล้ว +9

      I just went today and viewed both the C1/C2 and QN90B. I’m partial to the LG C Series because OLED will always beat out QLED in terms of image, but I’m leaning towards the QN90B because of the longevity AND brightness, which the C Series definitely lacks. In a brightly sun-lit living room, the QLED is the clear winner. Burn-in is definitely something I fear for as a gamer, so once again the QLED wins. You just have to be willing to sacrifice those things or be willing to take those risks. It’s down to preference.

    Why don't you show this tv in 1080P mode and let the viewers know how it looks. I say this because this is what most of us watch when viewing network tv. How bright is the screen in the 1080P compared to an OLED? You need to concentrate on this aspect due to the fact that this is what we will be looking at then or if we buy this tv.

      @@halo-halo9244 Hi Halo, great name by the way, I am buying the Xbox X series this weekend, and the game pass. Excited to get back into gaming. As for the 1080P part, the picture I was getting was darker than my 9 year old model I just got rid of. I got the A95K yesterday and had to call sony and had them take control of the tv to adjust it. Would be nice to just know the settings with videos like these, otherwise a guy like me who knows squat about this stuff will be lost. Thank you Sony.

      @@beryllium4043 I took an oled because everyone says they are best. But I have a problem with it, as it is difficult to use the menues. It is fast to update the pictuers but it actually gives me a bit of eyestrain. The menues are not as they use to be. (it is a LG c2 55", but I have seen a LG CS that is close to eachother. But the settings were better on the CS. More possibilities to fine-tune the picture. I don't understand what the difference is in these menues? I have to go back to the store and do a little research. There is one thing whith the C2 that it keeps on resetting the values for light and contrast, whenever I change input source. Very anoying. And the pictuere from the computer is not white - it is yellow. So maybe I was too quick to buy a tv, because the eyestrain is there, even if i is of another sort. And the sound is strange and very anoying, There is bass - but the equalizer is not working as it should. And the TV:s search facilities are entirely focused on entertainment. Nothing serious. I really hate that. But the pictuere is good. Even as I have rather poor internet connection. So I am not happy with it. But I have not worked myself through all settings yet.

      My QN90B arrived today, I'm still getting to know it. Unfortunately, due to my own inexperience, I set some things wrong, so the TV wanted to treat the PC as a set-top box, which resulted in a slightly purple shift in the picture colour. I was scared that it wouldn't work as I would be using it for work as a photographer. Then someone posted on a forum that I shouldn't select a "provider" during setup and just add the PC via HDMI afterwards. It works perfectly now, and it even realised that it was a computer that I connected it to, so now I have the option to use standard (e.g. for work) and entertainment mode. The former is the equivalent of a classic monitor display, the latter is a real movie/gaming mode with beautiful colours and light. 120Hz (European model) works perfectly, natively, no cheap tricks. I was very surprised by the blacks, my eyes have to look for halos, however there are two small negatives: firstly there is a 2 finger wide vignetting on the edges of the screen. It's slight, not distracting, but I'm sure there will be some who will be bothered. The other is that on a dark grey image, there is some bluish cast in the bottom corners. It's probably the background lighting leaking a bit. Surprisingly, it only shows up in grayscale, e.g. in Photoshop, it's not distracting when watching a movie or working. However, because of its size, when I sit close to it, I can see the colour fading towards the edges that is typical of LCDs. All in all, I'm very happy with it, for less than 700 EUR I think it was a very good buy.

    Except the UI is mega unfriendly! It is not intuitive, and stuffed with content I don't want see. These can't be disabled or even hidden. Even de builtin e-manual seems to document settings from 2020/2021 models, i.e. the steps how to delete Apps again are wrong. On my Android smart-phone I can place the apps on the home-screen that I want or hide others.
