She shouldn't have turned down all stars 3 she would have at least made the finale and manilla probably would have won as4
she'd have made the finale exactly bc the queens werent strategic and cutthroat aside from shangela who had a gameplan to the very end but the fact they all carried kennedy to the end proved it was the season of sympathy so latrice's reputation would have gotten her there

@@Mirage049 carried in the sense that in any scenario where she should have been the one to not continue in the comp some spur of the moment good fortune kept her in. dela's sacrfice. the jury. in these scenarios her scorecard was the weakest among her competitors and she was the most deserving to get the chop.
@@MyidolGwen lol actually Trixie’s was the worst when DeLa was leaving! Trixie had not done well and it wasn’t until around then she got a second wind. Trixie should not even have been in the top 2 because she literally was lackluster. Except for all the crap she talked in confessionals. Which is why a lot of the queens don’t eff with her anymore

That's why I don't take that show seriously now, and see it as a piece of entertainment titled "Are we telling stories today?". That last US season felt so overproduced and forced, even by the bunch of the cast (not to mention soundboard sounds every 2-3 seconds), which completely thrown me off and made me realize that they completely destroyed the last bit of fun in it.
True T right there. Little too little reality in our reality TV these days.
I think its gotten unnecessarily political in the last three seasons. Like you're drag queens, we get it you're left wing and don't like Trump, come up with something more original already.
If you miss the days of how the show felt before it was overly produced, I'd strongly recommend Drag Race Thailand.

@@mexican_icecream To me the Golden Age of Drag Race was Seasons 1-4 and 6.
Season 5 was good, but I could tell it was starting to get a heavier hand in the editing, the producers saw how much people ate up the Sharon vs. Phi Phi drama from S4 and decided to stir up even more drama because they thought that's what we all want, straight up drama, except drama is nothing without organic substance to it. But that's why we got the Coco/Alyssa drama and the RoLaskaTox vs. Jinkx set-up.
In Season 6, the producers went okay, let's tone down the editing a tad. But since Bianca was the clear and obvious winner from early on, the producers took that as a sign that editing needed to be dialed way up beyond 10 to "throw us off" more. So that's why Season 7 turned out how it did, and why S7 is one of the most universally reviled seasons of RPDR.
Season 8 toned the editing down some, but it was more the case that S8 was such a short season that the editing didn't matter so much.
Season 9 thankfully had toned down editing even further which is why I enjoyed that season quite a lot, out of Seasons 7-11, 9 is the one which has felt more like original golden age RPDR.
Season 10 unfortunately overdid the editing again with the whole overselling drama, e.g. The Vixen vs. Aquaria, Aquaria vs. Cracker, The Vixen vs. Eureka.
Season 11 sort of kept same pace as S10, oversold drama between Silky vs. Yvie, Yvie and Vanjie, Vanjie and Brooke, RaJah and Scarlet. Like can we get more organic interactions again? So tired of overdone editing.

She's blaming the editing for making her look like a delusional over-confident contestant. There was the example of Monique not paying attention to her plea to stay when she went up against Manilla, winning the lip sync, and then subsequently saying to the judges how "Latrice gives her the ooh ah ah sensation" whilst eliminating her. That was why Latrice called Monique out for being fake, not because she was bitter for having been eliminated, like the editors want you to think for a storyline.

@@sobatmissqueen5558 i don't like to blame the editing either BUT you can actually see that they did some shady editing to Latrice on AS4, there's a video here in youtube that counts how many times they use the shady sounds on Latrice to make her sound bitter, it was almost everytime she speaks, and that twist the intention of what she means, making Latrice look like an arrogant bitch. But when you watch the Werk the world docu-series you see that she is actually a very professional and sweet queen.

Personally, I think the fact the queens make decisions based on what they think producers want was very telling. It’s hard for them to make decisions without that in the back of their mind.
Ultimately, during the Lipsyncpalooza episode, all but Naomi and Gia were paired with people who had eliminated them. You could even argue Gia knew she had to pick Naomi since everyone else had been eliminated by one of the Bottom 4.

That was when the show was not as overproduced. Notice she never once said she didnt say things, she said they spliced them up. Don't ever try Queen Latrice! Show some respect.
There's no editing that could have made Phi Phi look good on her season, girl please. Her attacks on Willam in untucked were vile and vicious. Serious anger management issues caused by deep rooted insecurities.
Of course it's never a one sided story, but her behaviour spoke volumes.
She couldn't redeem herself on AS2 either. Like Alyssa said 'You're that girl, I knew you were.' and 'everything I heard and knew about her, I'm glad she validated it'.
2 winners was a cop out and anticlimactic, Trinity should of won solo
The double crowning happened because most fans were pissed that all of the previous winners were white. Monet was ok at best on All Stars 4, for me it was between Trinity & Monique for the crown.

@@marcobenevi what was the issue with as3? it had a stronger cast, as4 most of the support was just behind manila, as3 everyone was rooting for dela, trixie, and shangela, they all 3 had the biggest support and followings, almost every queen on as4 did something that kind of rubbed fans the wrong way and turn around their impression, as3 you had people saying aja and thorgy should have gone further. i will say one thing i appreciate about as4 is they werent afraid to send each other home, as3 was the season of sympathy, chichi and kennedy got carried pretty far, the queens didnt have the heart to let them go
