I built this last night at my camp site! Thanks for the how to! It kept my swag dry for the most part. There were trees but too far apart for a Ridgeline so this Baker Tent was a great alternative to an A Frame. Thanks again for the easy to follow directions.
I can lay down and I have head and foot room. So a little more than 6ft. Thanks for watching, take care my friend. Oh yeah and start prepping for our thru hike, haha.
They are similar, but the adirondack has sloped side walls. And the baker walls are straight. Other than that no real difference. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
Actually it's a Adirondack Shelter. A Baker's Tent, will be like a lean-to with sides and a squared awning. Still an outstanding shelter though. That's what is nice about a tarp, so many configurations for all situations. Where as a tent can only do one thing. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
Great video! All practical, no jokes. No crazy music. Simple, direct and helpful. Thanks!

Hey great video and like…. 👍👍👍 can I ask what tarp that is or a link?
The tarp is a nylon 10x10 square tarp. This one was from Bushcraft Outfitters. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.

They are made by Green Elephant and found on Amazon. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
This is a mix of baker shed and adirondack.
Kind of, yes. The traditional ADK tarp shelter has sloped sides whereas the Bakers are straight. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
Looks similar to the Adirondack.

That would work if it was light rain and little wind.

2nd tarp, 2nd Baker configuration = Totally enclosed shelter
Yes sir that is correct. Thanks for watching, take care my friend.
Adirondack, not baker.
