I like mixing the tacky glue with wood glue ‼️It has worked really well so far on all the crafts I've made ‼️💖💖💖00:04:45‼️‼️‼️😻

I moved to a small town right outside of Memphis, TN and they still have this type of catalog of library books. It’s small and quiet. I love the chest you made for the front of living room??oh, I almost forgot. Can we use the same type of cover for a gas stove? My husband grew up in the city but he might know the answer. I’ve been looking for more of those wooden drawers for two years. I’m hoping they’re coming back. Maybe your store put out some old ones because they’re not on the website either. I would buy a case if I could. The wood glue is great. Also, the drawers tend to be slightly different sizes so it’s a good idea to mark which drawer goes inside which drawer base.
Yes I haven't been able to find many wood items and other supplies at my DT either, plus they never have nice stuff like hers.

All of these ideas are fantastic but that large piece using the Ikea and Dollar Tree wooden drawers is GORGEOUS! I made a small 6 drawer set up.using the Dollar Tree drawers to store all of my flavored tea bags. I used the small label drawer pulls to label each drawer for the teas. It turned out really cute! Thanks for the inspo.

Thank you so much for sharing the lighting project. I went to Home Depot and purchased two Habor Bay Scones lights couldn't find the barn lights. The puke lights I purchased change colors and I enjoyed working on this project with my husband. My living room looks so much larger with new lights. Thank you so much 😊

great project! These library catalog drawers are so popular and oh so expensive lol. One small ask: please show two projects separately (especially the how to’s) since it became a bit confusing as to which was which, what was done to DT drawers vs Ikea ones at a certain point😊tfs!! PS: I was looking for those metal drawer pulls with label spots and didn’t know Amazon had it for hood price. I only need a few but thanks for sharing that!

I used the wood crates, a bag of clothes pins from DT, small wood plaque base, and lazy susan parts (amazon) to make a rotating crafters ink pad holder. (I got the idea from someone on YT, but I tweaked it bc she made her own lazy susan.)
Those turned out great. I love the old apothecary cabinets and you duped them perfectly. I am redoing my craft room and these would be fantastic in there. Definitely doing these.
It's cute, but the bad staining definitely keeps it from looking "high end". (If by that you mean expensive.) It looks sloppy and cheap to my eyes. My dad was a cabinet maker and our house was filled with "high end" furniture, which we still have, by the way. (Nothing lasts like real handmade stuff.) So this does not look good at all to me. It looks like exactly what it is - cheap pieces trying to look expensive and doing a really bad job of it. Next time, put some effort into getting an even coloring, and don't be afraid of the sandpaper. (The roughness is another thing that looks cheap.)

I have been watching a lot of dollar tree, organization, crafts, etc. I am truly impressed with the results you gain not to mention that you’re personality.. no offense to anybody else that does this type of video because I’ve seen a lot of cool things but this is the first time that I really thought it turned out nice enough to sell for a full retail price not looking cheap. Oh, and it’s all things I’m able to do without a ton of previous knowledge, work or tools. 🤗🤗 don’t Get me wrong ….some others had projects from dollar tree stuff that turned out really nice. Usually it involves a lot of patience or time that I just don’t have. 😬To sum my comment up…… u my dear ROCK. Thank you.

I love all the wooden crates and other wooden pieces at DT!😍
I just finished making several fall arrangements in the wooden crates after painting the crates.
I had some orange crates filled with different colored pumpkins and even had a blue crate with blue and white pumpkins and leaves! 😘
I use these crates for every occasion, bringing beautiful colors to each holiday!
On the occasions when DT has the two gnomes together, I often incorporate them in the crates too!
Last year I painted the crates white, yellow and orange just like candy corn and filled the crate with the same colors of flowers!
People should also look in the Plus section because their $3 and $5 wood pieces are even stronger and bigger and you can do even more elaborate things!😚
I discovered the wood glue some time ago and always make sure I have some on hand at all times!😉
I made a shelving unit with 6 crates across and 3 crates down. I painted each row starting with red at the top then white in the middle and the bottom was blue.
I glued them together with the wood glue and even used the clamps to keep them close together as the glue dried.
Now I use the unit for miniature pieces like you would put on a tiered tray.😋
What's so great is just walking around DT and getting ideas of things to make. You see a piece that looks like something you could use, then you find another piece that could add to a project. Before you know it, you have created something great and you didn't spend a fortune because you were at DT!☺️

These were some large projects, and they all looked amazing!! I loved the DT small drawers put together. I would paint them cream to match my home ( I did buy some crystal looking drawer pulls for some cabinets, and they WERE $5)!!

I don't have the butterfly wooden drawers or the knobs at my Dollar Tree. It finally has the Plus section and it's definitely come a long way with variety however I never seem to have anything I see in the videos people post 😂

I love the idea of the dollar tree boxes...I have an area in my bedroom where I wanted to put a cabinet and this option is awesome...How many boxes did you have to purchase to make it so large?
The small, single boxes from DT: she used 24. (She made two sets of 12 boxes each) which she put on different levels of the open black cabinet. (24 x $1.25 = $30.00, plus tax, stain, hardware, glue, etc.)
The larger set of "MOPPE" boxes from IKEA that are stacked in her foyer: she used 9 of those. (9 x $29. = $261.00 plus tax, stain, hardware, etc.)
