There's a version of Avatar gorge while driving going to Puning hot springs. The difference is you're riding in a 4 by 4. while in avatar gorge you're walking.

If you happened to visit Arizona, the “Lower and Upper Antelope Canyons” tourist sites (underground canyons), somewhat similarity except that the colors of those slickrock formations are red-brownish in Arizona and here in the Philippines gray-greenish. I'm happy to see that a once feared volcano in the '90s, now appears to be an awesome view and a calm/mystical place.
My birthplace and hometown (Bacolor, Pampanga) was almost erased from the map because of the Mt. Pinatubo eruption that brought lahar cascading to our town. We lost everything.
By the way, we rebuilt a vacation house in the same place where our old house once stood because we feel that, "there's no place like home".❤️
