I am wondering how’s the safety like in Cape Town that you guys chose there? I don’t discriminate but i have friends from Cape Town, who chose to retire in SE Asia/Turkey/Greece/etc. because they cant find the peace of mind in their homeland. Aside from low cost of living (&wonderful nature), m wondering what other factors that played in choosing CT if locals are trying to flee when they could. Kinda ironic though. 🤔
Well people change I suppose. Just hope this isn’t all about what Mike wants. I’ve long appreciated Mike roaming around Philippines and exploring it. Thats why I’m still subscribed to this channel. Hope you miss it someday.
Yes ppl change and he's ready for a change. If he prefer to go running in south Africa it's his right... Becoming filipino makes no complaints or issues about going for runs or walks in manila whole. Waiting for his fiance therine about the polutted air... Think Mike needs a change ❤
You both look more relaxed and well rested. I enjoy coming to Manila every 2 years for a few month to live like a King. However, it always great to get back to my home in Florida to a better diet and clean ocean air. Cape Town has it all from the ocean, mountains and low cost of living. Best of Luck wherever you land.

Having lived in Rhodesia ( now Zimbabwe), Tenerife( Canary Islands) very nice, but can be expensive!,, and now in the province of rural( small town poblacion). Pangasinan ( heat factor 47C!! Phew lol)
Born and brought up on the coast, east of London, UK.
I would check out New Zealand, basically two islands , with very different clinates.
The Southern Alps get loads if snow in the winter for example!. ( Lots of. activities ect.).

I am from Switzerland and I agree that cars in the philippines are so expensive compared to Europe. Im talking about second hand cars here which are even well- maintained...And yes, Italy is beautiful.

When its too hit in the Philippines, you should go there in December, January to March because its a bit cooler compare to April and May.
You zeroed in on what YT is attempting to do with the emphasis on "Shorts" and "Live Streaming" format versus "Video" format.
So, to compare both sides, Videos require hours of editing which reduces the quantity (number) of video output to one or two per week.
Whereas, Shorts require little or no lime to edit, depending on only the preparation time as a requirement of the performer and NOT on the cameraman or director. Shorts can be produced at a rate of several per day, as many as one every hour. That's a HUGE difference when comparing that to the time required to make recorded Videos.
Additionally, "Live Streaming" has no requirements whatsoever. Just turn on the camera connection to the internet, place the camera, and walk away. This can be recorded for later viewing, but the hype is for viewers to connect during live action.
Again, NO EDITING time. The Channel owner just goes about his/her business of the day, including meal prepping, eating, casual conversation, etc., all without any editing time. It's all "LIVE" what's happening second by second.
That appeals to many viewers because it then becomes life as it occurs second by second and does not follow any previously prepared script. It's "life on the edge" of moment by moment as it occurs.
All that appeals to viewers; it's as real as you can get.
It's live TV.

Me personally, i support foreign vloggers because they help promote our tourism which helps our economy. That's really my main reason why i watch, like and subscribe. And for those who are just visiting, i immediately unsubscribe once they leave the country (or start posting on another country.)
@@moondustgirl2132 eto yung downside sa mga pinoy subscribers, lalo na sa isang FOREIGN travel vlogger. Loyal viewer lang sila kapag ang content mo ay about sa Pinas or ikaw ay nasa Pinas. Madami ka ngang subs pero nanunood lang sila kapag nasa or tungkol sa Pinas ang content. Mas maganda pa rin kung mas diverse ang subscribers na loyal viewer regardless kung saan or ano ang content. Ung iba selos pa ata kapag nasa outside Pinas at pinupuri ang ibang bansa.
As I said, my main reason for supporting vloggers is they help our economy by promoting our tourism. Kanya kanya lang yan. Some support them for the vloggers sake and that's fine with me. Basta for me, it's because of what they do for our country's economy, and ultimately for its citizens (us) kaya ko sila sinusupport. But in fairness to Mike and his former and current partner, they've done a lot na rin in promoting our country coz i've been watching his channel for years now (together with Juicy vlogs). Ang dami dami na nilang napuntahan na lugar sa Pinas, some of which we Filipinos didn't even know about. So if he wants naman to vlog elsewhere, okay naman sa kin. Walang personalan. I'm just saying na hindi ko na magagawang panoorin pa. First of all, wala na rin akong time even if I wanted to. Priority ko syempre is ung mga currently promoting PH.

"Reality"-Filipinos watch TH-cam like it's a noontime/k-drama show. So, the more content about the Philippines, the higher your ratings and viewers will be. Once you stop or lessen Philippines content, the views will drop. Filipinos love seeing foreigners praise the country (Philippines), as if they feel they are part of the videos. I'm not hating; I'm just telling the facts. I wish Mike and Gray the best of luck in the future, in front or behind the cameras.
