Maruti Swift 2024 is finally launched comes in a total of 5 variants: LXI, VXI, VXI(o), ZXI, and ZXI+. All these variants will come with a single engine option, The New Z Series 1.2-liter 3-cylinder petrol engine replaces the previous K Series 1.2-liter 4-cylinder engine, this new engine produces 81.6 PS and 112 Nm of torque. It will be offered with two transmission options: Manual and AMT, with a claimed mileage of 25.72 kmpl for the manual variant and for the automatic variant (mileage).
Prices for the New Swift 2024 are (price). The new Swift 2024 boasts features like a wireless charger, a 9-inch floating touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay functions, automatic climate control, cruise control, and keyless entry with a push start-stop button, among many others. Regarding safety, the new Swift will come with 6 airbags, ABS, EBD, and ESP as standard. This new Swift is now more feature-rich, more good-looking, and more safer as well.
Rivals of the Maruti Swift 2024 include the Tata Tiago, Hyundai Grand i10, and Citroen C3.

So basically they managed to make it more safe by reducing the power and putting a 3 cylinder under powered non turbo so people wouldn't take the risk of using this on a highway lol good one Maruti
The engine capacity is the same (1.2 L), but by removing a cylinder, they increased the stroke size as each cylinder got deeper. This gives the car much more torque at the lower end. Also to reduce the vibrations you would otherwise get by removing a cylinder, Suzuki has used fluid-filled bolts to hold the engine.

Now they will increase the price of baleno and Fronx since people will shift to it. nice strategy.May be they will bring sports addition in the name of feature and power.there is no way its going to match the earlier generation.at least they should have given cvt instead of amt.
