they cant add leaf springs, bc leaf springs are connected by the body and the body needs to be removed when you want to recharge your battery and its a small car, so it doesnt need leaf springs
It’s a must do! I really switched them out for two reasons. One to gain more weight with the beadlocks, and two ,stock wheels weren’t biting on the tires enough, I was able to spin all 4 tires by hand. When the truck was put in a jam the beadlocks would just spin without the tires moving.
@@backyardscaler oh righto, the trucks pretty top heavy isn’t it. The difficult part is finding the right rims and tires, thinking of going with injora
@@backyardscaler well im looking to buy my first RC K5 blazer to match my 75 K5. I kinda like the looks of the Traxxas square body blazer more though compared to the FMS.
Who cares if you can upgrade it when the company is unable to ship a working model. Terrible quality assurance, terrible customer service, and just a bad experience every time.
Sorry to hear, I’ve had some issues with the lights and they sent me out replacement lights no charge. If you need a contact email I can provide you with one for them, they will respond within a day or 2… and yes my yellow Powerwagon has RCAWD shocks, this was really to show you how to. I do have to say tho, the stock shocks with the oil holds oil the best and performs excellent.
Not really, this hands down beats the Scx24, trx4m , and enduro24… this “crap” Fcx24 has real 2 speed trans, portal axles , unbelievable slow crawl the competition just can’t match… not to mention the body’s are highly detailed… my only complaint about this fcx24 platform is that they use too thin a wire for the lighting system. Other than that, you get the most bang for your buck with this Fms.
Very nice!
Thanks!
Nice!
Thank you!
How about a how to video?
You’re right I was just thinking about this.
Ok check out new video, just uploaded it now… hope it helps ! ✌🏼
Hi
How about a 1:10 scale version of the exact same look & color as the 1:24 scale with all the features & more of a TRX 4 #TRXkiller
I like how the rc car has more advanced suspension than the actual car, the old K5 blazers use leaf springs
They make kits for 1/10 and 1/12 but I’m not sure there’s leaf conversion kits for this scale yet. I could be wrong tho.

Lol 20w brotha
This the first mod I’m doing to mine! How do you like the stock tires for crawling?

I want it for my Traxxas orange K5 I wanted to be it’s a little baby brother
That would be sweet!
Looks kinda stiff to me....
Yea, but it works well when in motion with weight and resistance. You can always change the amount of oil or type of oil for your liking.
How can I take off the top hood ?
It should be attached by screws I believe.
Gta sa car😮😮😮😮
This better than the traxxas k5?
This is a 1/24 scale rc, are you talking about the Traxxas larger 1/10?

@@armygreenfj3924 yea the Traxxas K5 is more detailed because it is much larger, this Fms K5 is smaller. They would both look nice.

Fms makes crap...

Huge stiction. Not a good idea to do this.
Haven’t had any leaks still works fine to this day.
Mine leak if you convert them to oil filled
How many o-rings did you install per shock?
