0:50 - From my paragliding days, I can tell your viewers the longer and narrower a wing is, the more efficient it is. The width to depth ratio of a wing is called its Aspect Ratio, and the higher it is the better! Up to a point - of course, as the Glide Ratio (which must be maximised for gliding) is defined as Lift over Drag. Or G =L/D. And pilots often refer to Glide Ratio as simply "LD".
As you make a wing longer and narrower, there is a point where the gains of additional lift is defeated by too much extra drag.
That point will depend on the application the wing is intended for, and the airspeed (or waterspeed!) range the air/water craft is designed for.
It's also worth noting, that it is NOT the aerofoil shape of a wing which keeps an aeroplane aloft. OR the so-called "Bernoulli Lift" generated on the wing's upper surface. It is the fact the trailing edge of the wings is lower than the leading edge. This forces a mass of air downwards, equal to the mass of the aeroplane - for level flight. The force needed to do that, and accelerate the plane is provided by the engines. What an aerofoil shape does for a wing is provide nicer handling characteristics, more efficient performance, and an extended range of safe flight speeds.
Another important thing to understand about a wing, is that in aeronautical terms, the Leading Edge of the wing IS the wing. And very slight changes to the shape of the leading edge and the area very close to it, can have a major effect on the performance of the wing. And in sailing, it is possible that two wings, which appear absolutely identical, may in fact behave quite differently in terms of Lift and Drag, and in different water-speeds. And so it could potentially be very difficult to catch a team being "liberal with the rules" shall we say? I wonder how many illegal foils will be deployed during this AC series, and by how many teams. How can you police that stuff? Even an expert might struggle to detect a tiny yet consequential change.

Thanks for showing these races. I live in Auckland NZ and there is no coverage I'm aware of.

That would be because this is the racing from 2017.

Artemis didn't react efficiently under pressure, especially when they were in the lead.
