    If its in the water it must be sailing the boat simply got faster by lifting its bulk out of the water

    Ffs they have had to evolve in the way they sail to keep excitement in the sport,the old method of sailing is too boring nowadays for the majority of ppl

    One of the statistics was the GB boat had 100% "Fly Time"! Meaning it was up on it's foils 100% of the time and NOT in the water! just a question.........if the boat is not "sailing" in the water and just "foiling" above the water ...is it really "sailing"?
    Just to let you know. I think there are valid points for either side but I think the single hull boat is more "sailing" than the catamarans "foiling"! It is still fun to watch though!
