@@reshadreswan There is a difference between trying to change yourself to become a better person and trying to become something that goes against your entire character. I am a big fan of the idea of self optimization and overall self improvement but every student that tries to become a lawyer to please their parents despite wanting to do something they else is the kind of behavior I meant.

For a movie the this scene was great because most movie script writers want a line to hit the heart so that they can attract more audience. In real life, I would never ever advocate to not to go to war with yourself. Here yourself means ones desires for absolute success, money and power. If a man is engulfed in his desires, if he lets his desires blind him of humanity and kindnesses in his heart then he is doomed. Desires have a beginning but no end. Desires will distant you from what is most valuable to you that is people around you. Fight yourself to become a better human. Exploiting the weak for is the lowest form of existence.
