I think some facts are wrong here Lachit was naturally ill and not because of battle wound and he died 1 year later because of natural illness. He fought the battle of Saraighat with high fever.

Very good , inspiring. Very good conception. Politicians make Lachit as Hindu Hero notwithstanding the truth. The force of Lachit was consist of mostly INDIGENOUS Muslims and local tribes and fought agaist Hindu Ram Singha's forces. Ahoms are not Hindu, still original, bonafied Tai people practice Buddhism or Taosim
Ahoms adopted Hindu religion and culture after coming to Assam. They didn't imposed their own religion and culture like Muslim invaders. Yes, there are some Muslim solders in Lachit's army who were the war prisoners solders and later they became indigenous Assamese Muslims. King Ram Shing was the general of Mughal army. He represented Mughal king Aurangjeb. The war was not held with Ahom and Hindu but with Mughals where Muslim and Hindu both solders were joined.
