    Tarikh is a daily program in which we present you with incidents and stories of noteworthy persons of Indian History in Hindi. In this edition of Tarikh, Divyanshi talks about Battle of Saraighat naval battle fought in 1671 between the Mughal Army, led by the Kachwaha raja, Ram Singh and the Ahom Kingdom, led by Lachit Borphukan) on the Brahmaputra river at Saraighat, in Guwahati, Assam, India, the weaker Ahom Army defeated the massive Mughal Army by clever diplomatic negotiations to buy time, guerrilla tactics and psychological warfare. The Battle of Saraighat was the last battle in the last major attempt by the Mughals to extend their empire into Assam.

    The main thing you forgot to mention that.... When Lachit's maternal uncle not done some responsibilities properly in the field of Saraighat war than Lachit cut his uncle's head and he told a sentence that, "(Dexot koi mama dangor nohoi) it means You are not bigger than the country". The iconic legendary dialogue of Lachit Borphukon.
