Good news, recently Nathen was attacked in prison with sugar and boiling water. Becky’s father said it was the best birthday present he could have got.
From what I just read it was in 2017 and it was reported he was attacked with boiling butter. Unless it's another attack. I also found that the equally crazy Shauna Hoare (yes, it's pronounced the way you're probably wondering, lol.) was also attacked so badly that she had to be resuscitated twice, also in 2017. Dang if the women aren't more brutal than the men! Maybe that P.O.S. sick pedo. should be thrown in with them too, for a few hours. How awful for that poor family to try to get through that. Becky had managed to beat her eating disorder and was taken by a monster! Such a loss of a life of a beautiful young girl.
Seriously, that poor girl endured so much pain from that monster for years. Please remove yourself and your kids from that kind of environment especially when you've witnessed that kind of vile behavior towards your daughter, no gf/wife is worth sticking around for with a son like that when it comes to the safety of your child.
I agree! I know that he started ‘grooming’ her when she was 15 but she wasn’t some wilting wallflower. I think that she was just as guilty as him! She encouraged him!! 🤬
“Becky Watts's killer was beaten so badly in prison he had to be brought back to life twice” Now that’s a beautiful headline. Keep bringing him back for more!!
Unless you have been over the wall you have no idea the horrors being dreamed up and acted on to do to this monster. its the highest badge of honour you can earn when banged up, everyone is waiting for that split second when the screws are not looking, and if those screws have kids those moments will happen a lot.
@@adellsternbergliterally no prisoner accepts and treats those kind of inmates with any type of passion. Pedophiles don’t typically stand much of a chance at redemption.
@@adellsternberg. That's putting it mildly ! But many of those who try to get at the nonces are of dubious nature themselves. I certainly wouldn't trust any of them.
He's complaining about his back killing yet he just cut Becky's body into pieces the complete monster. She looked so pretty, I reckon they were jealous of her, nasty evil people.
@Long John Thilver he was clearly jealous. He lived with his gran for most of his childhood, while she lived with HIS mum. I believe there is an element of jealousy there as he feels his mum has "abandoned" him while taking Becky on. Becky gets the attention he has always wanted. That said, I believe the reason he lived with his gran and not his mum was possibly because of the way HE treated her. I think he hates women in general, perhaps there is something in there from his history with his own father, but we don't know that. So, he hates women, and treats his mum like crap but when his mum sends him to live with his gran, it makes him resentful. His mum then takes on a young girl who lives with HER, even though she is not her mum. Add to that, she was a pretty, popular young girl, and he was, well, not so popular. Then there is a sexual element, as he had a thing for young girls clearly, which I believe was to make himself feel powerful over them, possibly as he was angry and felt powerless over his childhood. Shauna started off as a groomed teen. None of what I have said justifies anything Nathan did. He is heinous. That is often however, how some of these personalities develop.
They were jealous for sure, yet desired her. It's like how a little boy pulls on a girl's pigtails and is otherwise mean to her but actually wants her to be his girlfriend. People have excused that kind of behavior as kids being kids, but this case is an example of what it can grow into. The perp preyed on pretty young girls, and Becky was a pretty young girl whom he wanted but knew he was trash, so he tormented her.
@Long John Thilver He was absolutely jealous because she was 1. good and was seen as good, 2. had the love of her parents (which included his mom), 3. had close friends who loved her, 4. didn't want him. You think that people can only be jealous based on looks? 🤔That's simple-minded.

Becky was my sister and unfortunately Nathan was our step brother. Thank you for this video, you have shown respect and kindness towards the family and shown them in the only way they can be shown. In complete darkness. Her own mother knew that she was involved. Says it all doesn't it really. Thanks again for the respectful video. Jem x
The tiniest detail that I can’t wrap my head around or fathom is. Nathan knocks on Becky’s door and asked “Can I see you a minute?” So obviously Becky knew who was at the door. So when during the struggle his mask came off revealing his face, did it occur to him ‘Becky must be killed now because she’s seen my face?’ There’s no rhyme or reason to his plan.
Excellent observation. Clearly these two psychopaths planned this in advance. Reminded me of Karla Homolka and whatshisface, who also killed her own sister to cater to her boyfriend's sick desires. Incomprehensible.
I caught that, too... he's just a sick SOB, hated his stepsister (probably because he's a pedo and he tried something with her and she rejected him, but who really knows) and wanted her dead
A lot of details about Nathan and Becky were left out. When she was going through her eating disorder he would call her fat. He would jump out and scare her just to be mean. Don’t forget he was in his 20s at the time and she was still a child. I truly believe he had sexual feelings towards her and tried to act on them and ended up killing her. Shauna is equally as vile as him, they can both rot for the rest of their lives.
He definitely had a weird fixation on her either a perverted sibling rivalry with a touch of taboo sex drive. The whole kidnapping ideology seems a cover story to appear to be protective of his Mother. I don't buy that I too think he was being sexual motivated!!
He was the best man in his stepfather's wedding and then turns around and murders the guy's daughter. The way that poor girl lost her young life all because of the sexual obsessions Nathan and Shauna shared together was truly heartbreaking💔
The sentence was a joke. I'd bring back torture for these cases, but this is just my opinion. In any case they should both have gotten life without parole . Without question.
Yep, he was a paedophile, and they knew him. Then, I believe that they tried on her,and because she refused them, and probably threatening that she would tell the parents, made them to act, planning to kill her...sad, this could be prevented...
She was there at every step. Outside the house when she was abducted. In the car with the body in the boot on the way back home. In the home where she was dismembered in the tub. At every location where the items used in her disposal were purchased... She knew.
Nathan wasn’t trying to teach Becky a lesson, Nathan liked young teenage girls. He had 4, 12 year old girls in his car then he started dating Shauna when she was 15 but lied about her age to family because he knew it was wrong. He said he didn’t like the way Becky treated his mum but he couldn’t name one thing that she had actually done that was so horrible. Shauna is equally as vile all they both could do is speak negatively about Becky when being interviewed. I believe Shauna was jealous of her too. I can imagine with Becky being so shy & anxious she never wanted to create problems between her Dad & Step mum so she kept quiet about the verbal abuse from Nathan. I hope they never make it out of prison & the inmates give them the same treatment all r***** & child killers get.
If Shauna was 15 when she started dating Nathan, her perception has been screwed up. What's normal and what isnt. She may have even been abused earlier. I'm sure someone like Rose West wasn't born that way.
I know what a lame excuse - who buys a taser, kidnaps someone, teaches them a lesson - then puts them back and expects them not to tell? Also even if my brother or relative wore a mask I’d still know who they were from their body shape/ voice! Why knock the door and ask can I speak to you if you are an intruder! Taking your young child to a kidnap/ murder? Great parenting from them both!
What I’m so confused about, the idiot had a mask, ok… did he really think she wouldn’t recognize his voice. She was dead the second they come up with this hellish idea. 😢
😢 what breaks my heart the most is the fact he had showed that he had a sick interest in young girls, Becky's dad had two times made him leave so why did he not immediately suspect him! So many times family ignore or hide from the truth and it always ends bad!
I don't get how someone can dismember a body. Let alone, someone you're related to. What has to die inside someone that allows them to do that? I have no clue.
aside from how horrific and disturbing it would be, i just get tired thinking of all the work it would entail and how messy it'd be. no matter how much i hated someone, i just couldnt be bothered.
I think it’s less about being evil (granted that they’re both some of the most evil monsters in this world) and more about how it’s easier to get rid of a body by cutting it up comparing to just dumping her whole body somewhere.

And being a female, to watch and take part in the violation of another female and a child at that is absolutely gut-wrenchingly sickening. She was down with it every step of the way.
I remember this being in the news as we were the same age at the time, and I've read her dad's book. I was almost in tears reading it. She told her dad "you can't protect me if he does something," there is no way in hell that wasn't a cry for help. That poor girl was suffering so much, but probably felt like she wouldn't be believed if she told someone. RIP Becky, I only hope you're at peace now.
They obviously tried to kidnap her, take her back to that disgusting place they resided in & have their filthy way with her & "hide her in the attic". Becky was NEVER going to let that happen & probably fought & screamed like hell, she was too much for both of them & they panicked & murdered her. He is absolutely BS'ing about wanting to" teach her a lesson", he doesn't want anyone knowing his true intentions. I hope he's incredibly miserable in that prison & the lads make his life hell... He only looks about 5 foot tall. RIP Sweet Becky.
Exactly. Since he'd already been established as a child predator before that point, his idea of teaching a young girl a lesson was only going to go one way. SMH If a child predator goes up to a child and says, "Come here, I'm gonna teach you a lesson," everyone knows that they mean.
Yeah and his excuse was that she was treating his mum bad but couldn’t name a single time she supposedly did. And even if she did, she was a child and teenager.
Its all about WHO takes the last breath out of the victim. Unfortunately it makes a difference. I've seen plenty of cases of men being manipulated by girlfriends to "do the deed" and they get life ALWAYS. Even when can only imagine if it wasn't for their partner they would never do such an hideous act. Life-long criminals know this. When they kill in group they always say "the other gave the killing shot". Because they know that person will be done for life.
Dear God, that text that Shauna sent to Nathan whilst he was out shopping for the cleaning products, gloves and circular saw - 'What time you finish work? LOL'. Obviously it seems perfectly innocent from the outside, but when you think about the context of it, that she knew he was out buying items to dispose of her body, for her to refer to it as 'work' and to even lol at the end, it just sends the total lack of remorse to a whole new level. I also cannot get my head around the fact that they brought their young child with them to buy the other cleaning products, and that the dismembering would have taken place with the child in the house. The more you see about this case, the more horrifying you realise it is.

@@lorddamocles2222 because she was only convicted of manslaughter. She's already out and he's got another 24 years minimum to go. I think what prevented her getting convicted of murder was his steadfast refusal to indicate she was involved, together with the lack of forensic evidence on her clothes, primarily. I wouldn't be surprised if they agreed that if they got caught, he'd take the blame, because they have a child. Quite unbelievable, but that's the way these monsters think.
My guess is it had nothing to do with anything but his sexual feelings for her so she died for that. If there's any justice, someone in prison has the same feelings for him.
This is why I hate porn. Hate it. Apparently the most popular search is brother and step sister. I'm sure he was watching loads of this stuff and thought he could create his own deviant fantasy.
What’s so frustrating is how adamant Shauna was in saying “I had nothing to do with this” and she said it with a shockingly amount of confidence each time. I don’t know what it is with people who think they can outsmart the police and detectives, especially when there’s clear evidence against them.
Shauna is a psychopath, she can lie and show no emotion or a lot of emotion. They’re not like normal people! I’m glad she’s not around her daughter, God knows what would happen to that poor child once she reached puberty or even before!
I, too, was extremely jarred by Shauna's ability to deal with questions so easily. I feel she was orders of magnitude more natural and convincing than almost all others in these types of interviews. She really managed to come across as unbothered but not detached, and even quite helpful in her pursuit of real salient details to investigators questions. That is why, for me, she is by far - by leaps and bounds - the more dangerous and evil of the two. I consider Nathan almost too stupid to be taken seriously.
Hope, it's narcissism!! They think they are smarter than even the police. I think Shauna actually enjoyed being questioned, proving over and over she's smarter!!! NOT, no way, no how!!!
Criminal psychology has demonstrated the behaviour of many perpetrators/suspects over the years during investigations and questioning by detectives. Many will display a contemptuous and over-confident manner during said interviews, but they might also inadvertently cause their own downfall in the way they respond. For example, replying "No, I absolutely did not" combined with body language such as wringing the hands, can be a huge giveaway. It's effectively the individual desperately trying to convince not only the detectives of their innocence, but also themselves. I imagine many defence solicitors and/or counsels have likely advised their clients to avoid double-assurances when answering questions, and simply reply "yes" or "no" as far as possible. Even then, detectives will look at other mannerisms, such as a lack of emotion or eye contact etc. It's quite unbelievable how some perpetrators think they'll get away with things. The two teens found guilty of murdering Brianna Ghey recently were quite staggeringly arrogant, but also childishly naïve to believe they could fool the court. That's what's rather disturbing to me.
@@memoryhero I think we've often dangerously underestimated how manipulative women and girls can be in certain situations. Because we still have this disbelief and absolute horror (understandably so) that the primary care givers can be just as capable of evil acts and violence as males (it becomes denial in some cases), whenever women are involved - a mother too, in Shauna's case - we struggle to comprehend that they can be the driving force behind the events. Make no mistake, although the males in question clearly have an emotional disturbance and potential for violent behaviour, we've seen time and again how they still require a relationship and bond with a particular female to create the 'perfect storm' in the nightmares that follow. Women, we have seen, will often distance themselves from the actual act of murder in such 'partnerships' (though it's of course not unknown for it to be otherwise), but that does not make them any less culpable or dangerous. Some would argue it makes them more so. They have the power to manipulate their partner into committing the crime, then in their minds, they're innocent of doing it, but they also have the twisted, somewhat sadistic pleasure of knowing not only what they have influenced/caused, but that they also have the control over the outcome. Had Shauna turned round and insisted to Nathan that Becky be left alone, I dare say he would have agreed/obeyed.
Oh, man. The plea for his daughter's safe return, and those emotions from that poor father - 😓😢 I can feel his heartache. 😔 This whole case is just so darn sinister, demonic, diabolical, and depraved. It takes a real psychopath to be able to do something so vile, heinous, and deplorable. May they rot in hell...
How could he do it to his FAMILY?!!? He’s so cruel & selfish. His mother & step-father are good people. We don’t know much about his genetic father. The girlfriend was very young when she started being ‘groomed’ but that’s no excuse! To commit such a brutal, perverted & diabolical crime, against a FAMILY member, is unthinkable for most. They lack all compassion, empathy & morals. They should NEVER be free to walk amongst the rest of us ever again!
Unless and until this deplorable act is carried out against my own 16 yr old daughter, there's no way I can comprehend what this dad feels. Thank god I can't feel his heartache. I can only give him my sympathy, empathy, and compassion while quietly thanking my higher power that my kids are still alive.
I was looking at Nathan's Mum's facial expression while Becky's dad was pleading to the public for his daughter's safe return. To me, she looked as guilty as her son, she looked as if she suspected her son or something, she looked as if she already knew something bad had happened.
exactly why it's important to teach kids very early on not to care what others think or say. I know that's something I'm going to try and get my children to understand. I know it's easier said than done though it took me years myself to finally see none of that stuff matters. but this is sad she was a gorgeous girl and she didn't believe she was because of what other people said.
He wanted to kidnap her and scare her, to keep his identity secret, but knocked on her door and asked to see her for a minute? Dude, she already saw you when you knocked on her door! Their story was a total lie. I think he had sexual feelings for her and she turned him down.
yeah, their story is total BS...no idea why it's believed. I don't know what happened, but it's not anything like they said. I think the girlfriend was involved, and their story was just to make her seem innocent and to make it seem like an 'accident'. I don't even want to think about what might have really happened, but it's not what they said....

That story is so stupid, had to knock her out cos the mask fell off,FFS.So when a person is alone in their room and a supposed stranger knocks on the door and asks "can i see you ?" they just calmly answer the door? OMG he is so brain dead,
The stepmother suspected something. You can see it in her eyes in that very first interview with the press when the dad was crying. She knew, or suspected and didn't want to believe it. Nathan could not have hidden that much hatred towards his step sister from his mother.
The step mother probably unwittingly started the ball rolling, afterall Nathan did not live there so he could have only have heard about Becky's treatment of her from his step mother.
@@jacquelineclare2373no, even though Nathan didn't live there, another documentary showed how he still spent a lot of time with them at the family home. I sincerely doubt that the stepmother started the ball rolling, and even if she said something to him about something Becky had supposedly done, so what? Families tell each other things all the time. Are you telling me the natural reaction to hearing that your stepsister said something rude to your mother, or 'left her clothes on the floor', is to attack her, smother her, stab her, and dismember her body? It's just so completely out of proportion, and the most pathetic excuse he could have had. He was jealous of their relationship, and had a sexual interest in young teenage girls, simple as that. Psychopaths always try to rationalise their actions in the most absurd ways.
I agree completely with Ben. I think the stepmother may have been aware of tension between Becky and Nathan, but could not have predicted it would ever escalate to more than a bit of a sibling rivalry. I believe Nathan had his own motives completely separate from his ridiculous cover story. His story that he did it because of how she treated his Mum is completely designed to try to garner some small shred of sympathy for him, by trying to make it sound like some misguided attempt to be a saviour or hero by protecting his mother. He realized he was caught, and sympathy can equal leniency. It’s incredibly selfish of him, using “protecting his mother” as a flimsy excuse while knowing she has to hear this, and he’s already destroyed her life but still managed to make it that much worse. His only concern is for himself.

It's weird to me. Like, that parent must feel in the back of their mind that there's a possibility that the kid wasn't abducted but instead ran away because of the parents discipline methods. They're obvious talking to the child with a line like that. A kidnapper certainly isn't going to give a hoot whether their abductee will get in trouble or not. Yes, that’s so true. Unless you’re speaking in the past tense as I’ve heard many people estranged from their partners children saying they were like a mother to them - still in the past tense because they don’t speak anymore. Interesting 🤔
I have done a LOT of work on the psychology of people who commit serious crime. A lot of the time, they have grown up without consequences, and so feel they can get away with more and more. Sometimes this is in the context of neglect, sometimes it is in the context of being mummy's precious little child who never does anything wrong, no matter what they do! Nathan was clearly jealous. Add to that, she was a pretty, popular young girl, and he was, well, not so much. Then there is a sexual element, as he had a thing for young girls clearly, which I believe was to make himself feel powerful over them, (again, sexual crimes are usually about power as opposed to sex), possibly as he was angry and felt powerless over his childhood. Shauna started off as a groomed teen. None of what I have said justifies anything Nathan did. He is heinous. He is an adult and made a choice to do what he did. That is often however, how some of these personalities develop. There is evidence that the reason why some people go one way and some another after trauma in childhood may have some genetic pre-disposition, and in psychopathy, people often have a shrunken amygdala - part of the brain that controls urges/impulsive behaviour - but even with that, most of the activation factors would also have to occur as well - specific trauma and opportunity and no intervention to stop the descent into depraved behaviour.
Becky already had complained that she was not feeling comfortable around Nathan, parents please pay attention when your children complain about their insecurities

Becky's death is heartbreaking, people in Bristol and maybe even around the world, will never forget her. R.I.P Angel ❤️
The more i follow stuff and channels like this, the more i get the feeling, that when somebody really goes missing or is declared as missing by the police, they are already dead flat out. I mean have they ever found someone missing, that was kidnapped? Worldwide? I mean when the kidnapper doesnt want money, they are just dead. Has anybody ever been found anywhere? I feel like this whole TV Involvement is useless, the tv stations of course profit from it, but i think in at least 99% of the cases it gives the familes false hope.
I live in Bristol too and have friends who lived near the family, I remember the public searches for her and the amount of people who went to her funeral
It’s sad because they knew their son had a problem. He kept bringing underage girls to the house and they didn’t take him to therapy or call the police.
The father says "you've got twelve-year-old girls in your car? Take them home." Lesson to parents to clue in to those kinds of signals and check in with your kids, Maybe even press them a little and let them know it's OK for them to tell you if they're worried or scared.
It’s a hard thing for some to comprehend and I commend you for your understanding thank you.. these animal have took everything from us and destroyed so much the bullet still Ricochet thru our lives to this day.. why should the hate of two people destroy the love of a loving united couple when they already took so much
I completely agree. He realises and understands that this was nothing to do with his wife, but solely the selfish, horrific actions of Nathan and Shauna. I wish them nothing but health and happiness as best they can for their future. That poor family, I can't even begin to imagine their pain, may Becky rest in perfect peace❤
Things like this happening is one of the reasons I have such an open and honest relationship with my 2 girls. They know they can come to me about anything and everything. Love these videos keep up the good work ladies
The minute a police interviewee refers to a missing person in the past tense, it's game over for them. It's so common, that televised missing persons appeals are an important tool for police, as it's so easy for family members with dark secrets to slip up in both verbal & body language. For what it's worth, it's been reported that both perpetrators in this case are having a bad time in prison due to inmates constantly attacking them, although it won't bring Becky back.
I would be suspected so fast because I read/looked into writing a lot and it's typical in writing in third person to do so in past tense so I tend to think in past tense when thinking of others and refer to them in past tense too if they're not present in the room currently.
@@RandomWrongDeletionhere’s a Bristol Post article about Shauna being resuscitated twice after being attacked by prisoners. If I knew who they were, I’d put a few bucks on their commissary. A “friend” said: "She really has to watch her back from what she tells me and just does everything she can to avoid dangerous inmates. Shauna is having a terrible time." Also found an article from that publication about Matthews being attacked with a jug of boiling butter. No sympathy from me. 🤷🏻♀️

@Long John Thilver Some people say so about some of the channels some of the time.... Im subscribed to dozens of them and I agree with Rohn Jambo, this is one of the best.
@Long John Thilver Truly Criminal, The Disturbing Truth, The Little Shop of Crime, Coffeehouse Crime and some others. Truly Criminal is right up there with the best. They all have their own twists and takes on these sorts of things so that's good. She was a lovely looking kid and that was her down fall . The other girl was bitter and jealous and the step brother fancied her and was bitter he couldn't have her . Sick twisted animals 😪
Personally, I think he had abused her when she was very young. This is why he was still sexually obsessed with her. My ex raped his little sister, I later horribly found out, and harboured sexual feelings for her too it seemed as an adult as well as being into CSAM. The fact this poor girl had an ED is also very telling... I have never met, myself included, a single young women with an ED who wasn't sexually abused. It is ridiculously common that eating disorders appear as a trauma response and coping mechanism in people who have been through that. Absolutely awful world.
@@domtekos7761 I’m a nurse and I specifically remember eating disorders being jumbled in with mental health disorders. Or a pre cursor to being susceptible to a general mental/anxiety disorder, not sure abt the SA but I wouldn’t be surprised if being assaulted could lead to it, but not generally what was taught to us.
@chiobabe2180 it's taught to mental health professionals and those who work specifically with children who are vulnrable that in a safeguarding sense EDs are a potential sign of SA. With adults, mental health professionals also look at having an ED as a sign of past childhood or early adolescent se ual abuse.

This channel fills the void Cayleigh Elise left when she quit youtube. Really like how respectful to the victims it is. Your voice is so pleasant to listen to and the narration avoids this icky sensationalist tone a lot of true crimes channel have. Love your work.
My first thought when I saw the news interview, with the stepmother’s vapid expression and soulless demeanor (while her husband was breaking down)… I thought “she knows something”
The way people are blaming the stepmother FOR NO REASON when the dad straight up admitted he knew about his stepson nathans obsession with teenage girls is insane. If anyone needs to be responsible it's the dad.
I think Shauna is just as guilty They were both in on it together. Both truly sick and evil. Makes me sick to my stomach, they BOTH had twisted fantasies and would have did more sinister things if they had not been caught. It’s horrible what Becky had to go through and knowing while it’s happening that it’s her step brother. I feel bad for the parents (Becky mom too), I’m glad they are stronger then ever and none of this broke them apart This is one of those cases that makes you say Wtf is wrong with people!?
I can’t believe that this young, beautiful girl had to lose her life just because her step brother was sexually attracted to her. Makes me furious that he felt that murder was necessary to fulfilling his depraved fantasy.
RIP Becky. My heart goes out to you. I'm so sorry this all happend to you. .. No more anxiety. No more bullying. Fly free innocent dove. Forever young.
Around 11:45 Shauna incriminate herself! She speaks of Becky in the past tense when she's talking about how upset the mom would be! I just caught that! I swear these documentaries train you to be hyper aware during interviews!
It broke our hearts to hear the Father's sorrowful plea for Becky's safe return or information about her. It still showed that their love was strong to keep them going despite this despicable act! Very sad! 💔
Shows just how evil and diabolical people so young can be. To sit there so calmly speaking as if talking about the weather. Whilst knowing she helped with this tragedy. I would worry about their daughter. Some truly sick twisted humans in this world.
Nathan and Shauna's daughter will hopefully have been taken away their hideous parenting early enough that she can grow and develop positively. I hope she is ok.
I believe that the parents have a really good relationship. Yes that is her child that killed her stepdaughter but she is not responsible for his actions. He is old enough to know right from wrong the same with his gf. So let’s put the blame on where it should be and that is not the parents. And I agree that she should have gotten life in jail as well. But I’m not the judge or jury.
@@terrimosier4393 Nobody put the blame on the parents though? OP simply stated that she’s surprised they stayed together, which is a reasonable statement considering how many marriages haven’t been able to withstand the death of a child…especially when a step sibling is responsible. Ofc Nathan & Shauna are solely to blame, which is why no one was arguing anything different.
Just butting in part way through your video & have to say, you are 1 of THE most credible & reliable source of true crime information on TH-cam. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 You are so respectful to the victims & your own personal narration is impeccable. This is eerily similar to the first killing committed by Paul Bernardo and Karla Homolka. If Nathan and Shauna hadn’t been caught they probably would have gone on to commit other murders and related crimes just like Paul and Karla.
not familiar with those you mention..i was more struck by the similarity to the early Fred and Rose West couple when they began their career of sexual torture and murder of young girls..some from the house guests and others they picked up in their car locally..the parallel is uncannily similar..beginning by snatching someone close..only these pair of monsters were sloppy..and left a number of clues..and with modern forensics quickly linked..which thankfully ends any chance of repeat crimes..which is what occurs when perpetrators like these scum enjoy the thrill..Rest in Peace Becky
I know the step mother and her family. They are good people so I'd appreciate it if people go easy on them! It is horrifying to think a child could do that to another. Obviously there were motives but the ironic fact is the crimes they commited against Becky are likely far, far greater than anything they were trying to suppress.

I don’t understand the part when Nathan knocks on her door and asks to see her for a minute and his mask slips off and she sees his face and he panics? Didn’t she already know who he was? His car, his voice, his build? I don’t get that….
I too have seen this twice before, but watched it again when I saw it was Truly Criminal, thanks for the kind portrayal of this horrendous crime, and for the further info not relayed in previous telling. Your are truly great and compasionate.

I remember following this story from the US. So, so sad. I do wish the UK would hand out longer prison sentences for these types of crimes. 33 years to me doesn’t seem quite long enough.
There is no guarantee he will be out in 33 years, that is just the non parole period, he may never get out. In the United States, people serving a life sentence are eligible for parole after 25 years
@@GrantDWilliams82 The thing is, most Brits serving a life sentence are released after about 20 years. I don't know why they even bother calling it a life sentence.

Truly Criminal is one of my favourite channels on TH-cam, you remain so respectful while retelling these horrific stories. Could I suggest Mick Philpot who killed his kids after setting fire to his house and trying to make it look like they were victims of an arson attack. But years before he was imprisoned for attempted murder of an ex and her mother, where he got only 7 YEARS!, he was then let out after only serving 3yrs for ‘good behaviour’. Thank you 💜🙏🏻
This is really sad, people are so evil and cruel, she had her whole life ahead of her. Those cowards should spend the rest of their lives in prison . R.I.P Becky, condolences to the family🙏🙏😢
When she had her eating disorder that should’ve been an instant red flag…as victims of assault frequently opt into that. It’s one of the few things they feel they can control. To conclude her murder couldn’t have been foreseen or prevented is bullsh*t IMO. All these glaring signs were there plus she mentioned it herself. It’s just real messed up after something like that happening and adding, “Welp I guess it would’ve happened anyways…”. Way to actively prevent future incidents with that mindset and operation 🙄 Additionally it appears Shauna’s last name is misspelled a lil bit….but it fits her gross description well
@SOCIALLY CRIMINAL Heya Socially Criminal, absolutely love your channel too. For those that love this channel and haven't been over to Socially Criminal's channel, I highly recommend.
I check it out. I enjoy true crime. Emma Kenny has a great channel. I thought that Socially Criminal just uploaded past tv shows. I must have them confused with another channel. I think that the TH-cam creators to make deep-dive, expertly researched & compassionate videos are far better than the common, made for tv, documentary series.
Prison napalm. Couldn't happen to a better person.

He's complaining about his back killing yet he just cut Becky's body into pieces the complete monster. She looked so pretty, I reckon they were jealous of her, nasty evil people.
His back was probably in pain _from_ leaning down to perform that abhorrent act.

Ah! Good catch. I didn’t even notice that.
Good point!
Nathan is just a little f'ing liar who proves he can't even do that well either
A lot of details about Nathan and Becky were left out. When she was going through her eating disorder he would call her fat. He would jump out and scare her just to be mean. Don’t forget he was in his 20s at the time and she was still a child.
I truly believe he had sexual feelings towards her and tried to act on them and ended up killing her. Shauna is equally as vile as him, they can both rot for the rest of their lives.
Agreed
So much was left out. Her struggle with eating disorders and how her dad was there for her all the way and the night before her murder .
He definitely had a weird fixation on her either a perverted sibling rivalry with a touch of taboo sex drive. The whole kidnapping ideology seems a cover story to appear to be protective of his Mother. I don't buy that I too think he was being sexual motivated!!

LOL'. @@lorddamocles2222 because she was only convicted of manslaughter. She's already out and he's got another 24 years minimum to go.

What bullshit,"see it in her eyes" FFS

@@CourtneyTunbridge79 does it strike you as odd in these missing kids cases when a parent makes a public plea to the media for the return of the kid when they say "he/she is not in trouble, we just want him/her back home!"?
It's weird to me. Like, that parent must feel in the back of their mind that there's a possibility that the kid wasn't abducted but instead ran away because of the parents discipline methods. They're obvious talking to the child with a line like that. A kidnapper certainly isn't going to give a hoot whether their abductee will get in trouble or not.

Plus it’s an odd thing for a young woman of her age to say about a sixteen year old ..
I picked up on this, too and was about to post until I saw this. Well spotted.
Life should mean life. How can someone who deliberately took someone else's life ever walk free again.
Exactly it’s disgusting
I’m baffled how people can sit there and plan someone’s murder. As if there is no consequences. Unbelievable!
Exactly then use mental defense or fake tears and make up excuses or downplay it

Good for Daren and Angie for hanging in there through all this horror.

@@texasgal1918 I did a quick search and it sounds like she quit youtube for mental health reasons
I can understand how constantly exposing yourself to the very worst of humanity can result in mental health issues.
I truly believe the stepmother knew her son was capable and responsible
I do not. Plus he did not live with her
My first thought when I saw the news interview, with the stepmother’s vapid expression and soulless demeanor (while her husband was breaking down)… I thought “she knows something”
It did seem odd to me too how the step mother was, but we all react to grief in different ways @@babybijou969
The way people are blaming the stepmother FOR NO REASON when the dad straight up admitted he knew about his stepson nathans obsession with teenage girls is insane. If anyone needs to be responsible it's the dad.
That mum knew deep down.. . Look at her face in that interview
That’s exactly what I thought. There’s no way I could share a bed with her after all that she’d be out aswel
I feel bad for the parents (Becky mom too), I’m glad they are stronger then ever and none of this broke them apart
This is one of those cases that makes you say Wtf is wrong with people!?
I often walk by Becky's memorial in the middle of St George Park, right by the pond. What a terribly sad story
Many thanks to the police and investigating team for their dedication and tireless work to solve this case.
Beautiful comment I wish she had chance to fly away from him but she was too young and maybe he would have never let her. Rip Becky 🤍
Around 11:45 Shauna incriminate herself! She speaks of Becky in the past tense when she's talking about how upset the mom would be! I just caught that! I swear these documentaries train you to be hyper aware during interviews!
Agreed Sara, we have become small time detectives 👌💞🇿🇦
Speaking of someone in the past tense is not a proof whatsoever.
It broke our hearts to hear the Father's sorrowful plea for Becky's safe return or information about her. It still showed that their love was strong to keep them going despite this despicable act! Very sad! 💔
Bad enough knowing your child is murdered, but having it come back in pieces, even more sad to know that she was so butchered.
And by your own family member. Just horrific
Shows just how evil and diabolical people so young can be. To sit there so calmly speaking as if talking about the weather.
Whilst knowing she helped with this tragedy.
I would worry about their daughter.
Some truly sick twisted humans in this world.
She is seriously lacking something! The pic of her in the Santa hat, her eyes look dead.
Nathan and Shauna's daughter will hopefully have been taken away their hideous parenting early enough that she can grow and develop positively. I hope she is ok.
I'm surprised the parents stayed together. Such vile people, she trusted them Rip Becky 💔
Why should they not stay together? they obviously love each other and have helped each other through this tragedy.
@@janetpendlebury6808 It's not uncommon for parents to divorce after they lose a child by murder.
@@gauravramdayal3359 also, it was her own son who killed his daughter
👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
You are so respectful to the victims & your own personal narration is impeccable.
Great job & outstanding channel.
Huge respect & sending love from Scotland 🏴
It is such a shame she struggled so much with self image before her death, she was a gorgeous young lady. 🥺❤️❤️
“My love for her is immense”. That brought tears to my eyes. True love.
I had the same thought. It reminded me of those two monsters.
I thought the very same. These two were psycopaths. I bet they would do it again if not caught
I can't imagine what those parents went through. So.glad they got through it and are still together ❤️
That speaks volumes about their relationship. To STILL be together is amazing & beautiful. Very, very few couples ever stay together following trauma…
I know the step mother and her family. They are good people so I'd appreciate it if people go easy on them!
It is horrifying to think a child could do that to another. Obviously there were motives but the ironic fact is the crimes they commited against Becky are likely far, far greater than anything they were trying to suppress.
@@hannahjames3180 I do not think the step mother is a nice person. Her eyes looks evil.
@@hadessa35 You base your schemata on someone's looks? Are you allowed to breed? I dread to think what would happen if you had a dodgy looking kid!
Personally, I think you are an asshole! Yes, I would say it to your face.
If people were kicked off the internet as they were in other areas of life, people wouldn't be so errantly judgemental.
@@hannahjames3180 course you do
I don’t understand the part when Nathan knocks on her door and asks to see her for a minute and his mask slips off and she sees his face and he panics? Didn’t she already know who he was? His car, his voice, his build? I don’t get that….
I too have seen this twice before, but watched it again when I saw it was Truly Criminal, thanks for the kind portrayal of this horrendous crime, and for the further info not relayed in previous telling. Your are truly great and compasionate.
Same
Like it somehow feels a different case when they do it?! I'm very familiar of the wedding picture and saw this once in a different channel. But I don't remember it like this. It has many details and the victim is really well presented, her background, her being a human. This is such a great channel.
I remember following this story from the US. So, so sad. I do wish the UK would hand out longer prison sentences for these types of crimes. 33 years to me doesn’t seem quite long enough.
There is no guarantee he will be out in 33 years, that is just the non parole period, he may never get out. In the United States, people serving a life sentence are eligible for parole after 25 years
@@janetpendlebury6808 So Brits become eligible for parole after 33 years. Yanks after 25. So basically pretty much the same thing.
@@GrantDWilliams82 The thing is, most Brits serving a life sentence are released after about 20 years. I don't know why they even bother calling it a life sentence.
@@Erebus.666.because they’re on licence for life. Basically meaning they’re never ‘free’ again in the way we know freedom, but I agree prison time should be longer for anyone who takes a life. The UK justice system is a joke.
@@sleepygirl3022 Being on license is a joke. I know several lifers out on license, and their reporting requirements are so negligible. It's almost non existent.
The fact that she told a friend that he had told her he wanted to murder her two years before is just mid blowing! She should have told her father! Told the police! Seriously! The guy was a CREEP!
What on earth is a guy in his 20s doing with a 15 year old. How does stuff like that happen without someone observing it and giving the fella a good kickin
One of the most heartbreaking deaths i have ever heard about.. Absolutely horrible. Rest in peace, Becky.
Thank you 💜🙏🏻
@@kcbh24 I’m a true crime fan. I enjoy watching the same case covered by a variety of different creators. It’s interesting!
@@kcbh24 Because nobody does it like truly criminal!
I love Coffeehouse Crime as well. They are my 2 favourites.
@@suzyfarnham3165same ❤❤..
Truly Criminal & Coffeehouse Crime are definitely my two favorites on TH-cam 👍👍
Way to actively prevent future incidents with that mindset and operation 🙄
Additionally it appears Shauna’s last name is misspelled a lil bit….but it fits her gross description well
I’m speechless 😢 I hope those two never get out of prison!
Dear Mia and Alice thank u for all ur hard work it’s greatly appreciated. RIP Becky u have grown ur angel wings now may u rest eternally x.

Yeh “Socially Criminal” just upload British tv shows. It’s not their work…
Can we just pause for a minute and imagine dismembering a body in your bathtub!! Unbelievable! Sick and twisted people.
I can't even cut up a chicken. 🐔
disgusting how shauna has been released recently after serving 8 of 17 year sentence.
