      Men from other countries may have stumbled across America as they left their countries to see what else was in this world. But the Native Americans were already here. Along with the red haired giants that lived in caves in the southwest.
      They’re still discovering other people that lived here thousands of years ago. So men from other countries may have discovered new land. But others were already here. Born here.

    Just found your channel, new sub here.
    Enjoyed the stories. We've got a long history of the Wood Wose or 'Wild men' here in the UK. The legends of Black Shucks, or Devil Dogs, come from all over. Then the long history of stories of the Fae folk.
    A local ruin near me, Castel Dinas Bran, was said to have been ruined after the fae had a party one night. The local saint, Saint Collen, was the one who stopped their fun !!
    I find the legends and myths really fascinating.
    Have a great day, from N Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

    Went fishing to Toledo Bend reservoir a few years back. On my there from Dallas, I drove through the piney woods. Gorgeous area. Once I got there I pulled into a place that rents out boats. there was a couple older gentlemen talking about a gator that had been killed there the previous week, 14ft they even had a photo. Anyway, I asked about the fishing and any locations they knew were good. The conversation eventually drifted to odd things they’ve seen. They told stories of Sasquatch. Apparently they travel up and down from Arkansas (ozarks) down through the piney woods to the gulf coast Texas/Louisiana. I was enthralled by the stories but thought they were that. Stories. I never saw anything but on my drive back home, I drove through these small roads to get back to the freeway. Smallllll roads, two lane traffic and sometimes smaller. Surrounded by thick thick pines and brush, smelled great. But I couldn’t help but think… this would be a good location for a Sasquatch. Were the stories true. Maybe.

    • @PathsoftheUnknown742
      @PathsoftheUnknown742  15 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      That sounds like an unforgettable trip! The piney woods have a unique mystery about them, and hearing stories from the locals only adds to the experience. The dense trees, winding roads, and rich atmosphere make it easy to see how tales of Sasquatch could spring up. Those narrow roads, especially when you're deep in the woods and surrounded by thick pines, can definitely spark the imagination! Many people have similar thoughts when they're out in those isolated, wild areas. Some say the sense of isolation, combined with the local stories, makes everything feel even more real.
      You might not have seen anything that day, but sometimes the stories we hear stay with us longer than anything we could witness. Who knows what roams those woods when no one's around? Thanks for sharing this-it’s always great to hear from people who’ve been to these places firsthand!

      ULTIMATELY IT'S A QUESTION OF TIME. IT TAKES TIME TO BE ABLE TO READ THE IMPRESSIONS T-HAT THE FEET OF THESE CREATURES MAKE, AS THEY ARE WALKING THROUGH THE WORD, I MEAN WOOD. THEIR EXISTANCE IS MOOR SYMBOLIC, NEVER THE LESS , THEY DO EXIST, BUT MAYBE NOT LIKE MOST THINK. ANCIENT IN ORIGIN THEIR WAYS, I MEAN WEIGHS OR WEIGHT ARE ENORMOUS AND LEAF EVIDENCE THROUGH THE PROTRUSIONS MADE WHIT EVERY STEPPE, KNOWN AS BAALS THAT ARE CONSISTENT WITH THAT OF A MAN WALKING TO AND FRO, SAVE FOR THE FACT OF THEIR SIZE. THESE CHIMERIC CREATURES OF TIME , TESTIFY TO THE FACT OF A CERTAIN SPIRITUALITY AND IT'S INHERENT FEATURES THAT COMPRISE THEIR COMPOSITE. UNFORTUNATLEY MOST WILL NEVER PUT TWO AND TWO TOGETHER- AS TWO THEIR HOWLS, WINES, RED DOCTRINAL EYES, AND THEIR LEAVES, ALSO KNOWN AS HAIR, THAT TESTIFY OF THEIR PASSAGE THROUGH THE WOODS AS ONE WALKS BI. THOUGH THROUGH UNIVERSAL LORE THEY ARE REQUIRED TO TELL YOU HENCE THE SIGHTINGS. SUCH RELIGIONS, I MEAN A CULT FOLLOWING THAT THESE CREATURES OF TIME COMMAND. You brought an almost poetic perspective to these creatures and the symbolism behind them. Indeed, the mystery of Bigfoot is something that goes beyond science - it seems to touch on something deeper, even spiritual. Who knows what else we can discover by walking through these ancient places and hearing the stories they hold? Thank you for sharing this unique reflection! Cheers! 😊

Stories get told and exaggerated over the years and that was a long time ago. I am not saying it didn't happen, just not sure that it did. I do believe there were giants in the not too distant past all across America. Many large human like skeletons have been discovered over the years, alot of them over 8 feet tall. So sure maybe he did kill one that was still around in his day.

      Great question! What lumberjacks and explorers said during the 18th and 19th centuries about what they saw in the forests is truly fascinating. Many accounts from the time mention mysterious encounters with unknown creatures, and it’s amazing to imagine what they might have witnessed. These accounts were often passed down orally, and it’s a shame that many details have been lost over time. Who knows what else could have been revealed! References to these stories? I have been a Bigfoot nut since I was a kid in the early 70's. I've read almost every book, article, watched movies, etc on Bigfoot. I have never ever heard these stories before. I was also a public school teacher here in Washington for four years where I taught - Washington State History! I hate to tell you this but we have/had no town called Cresent Ridge. We do have a Cresent Ridge Resort on the Columbia but it's that's located in the middle of scrub land country, there are no trees within probably 50 miles of the place and it did not exist back then. Back in those days there were only a couple of passes that settlers used to get over the Cascades. I have also hunted and backpacked for over 46+ years here in Washington (Olympics, Cascades, Selkirks, etc) and have never seen or experienced any Bigfoot related activity. I'll add here that I do this is remote country because I do not like to be around other people when out in the woods and this is getting harder and harder as more and more people are out there today. If there really is Bigfoot still existing today, it would be someone like me who seeks out remotes areas you would think would see them and not some occasional camper or hiking who just happens to have a TH-cam channel and who's only camera takes blurry pictures - LOL. The video was entertaining.

      Thank you for your comment and for sharing your perspective! It’s fascinating how these stories of mythical beings, such as fairies and elves, have existed in various cultures throughout the centuries. Indeed, many of these legends arise from cultural experiences, rituals, and even encounters that we cannot fully explain. Whether through visions inspired by altered states of consciousness or the presence of something unknown in the forests, these stories capture our imagination and continue to intrigue us to this day. The beauty lies precisely in how these narratives manage to survive the passage of time and make us question the world around us.

      It’s true that the lack of solid evidence remains a major point of debate when it comes to Bigfoot sightings. Even with all the technology we have today, it seems that capturing something 100% indisputable is still a challenge, especially considering the conditions in which these creatures supposedly appear. Many of the reports come from isolated locations and unexpected situations, which can make it difficult to record clearly. I believe this keeps the mystery alive and makes each sighting or report bring a new layer of curiosity to the subject. Thanks for sharing your thoughts!
