I was at game 3 of that series, first game at Oracle, and I've never been in a louder place. By far my favorite sporting event I've ever attended. Keep in mind I love baseball and football much more than basketball and was at Barry Bonds' 600th homerun game, Cal vs Tennessee in 2007, and game 5 of the 2014 NLCS. All great and incredibly loud crowds, but nothing beats this.

I have my ROOTS in doing shitty blue collar grunt work FOR 14+ YEARS! before working in tech in my youth, my friend and I had to 'cherry pick' all the games vs bad bad teams because I wanted to see the Warriors (before nickname 'Dubs' used now) vs suns, SA, jazz, lakers, bulls, or any good team that season and my friend convinced me that we'd get so fuckin slaughtered, that we had to see games vs teams with losing records so Dubs would have a chance winning. ONLY time we watched Dubs vs a very good team was in '04 when dubs played Detroit (world champs that year) and MAN was that place rocking! came back from a 7-12 pt deficit (shit, long ago, I can't remember) and won game! place was soooooo fuckin loud(alway was loud in a run to tie or take lead)! It was pretty diehard of diehards. Fast forward last 5 years fans now consist of people tech, finance, real estate, CEOs, marketing...makes me sick to my stomach. despite the 'change in scene' with influx of geeky techs or finance fucks, I'll still root for our Warriors with them.
