    I don’t know why but there is nothing more enticing than a hot, dry dirt road in the middle of a hot, dry game park with lots of wildlife around. Fantastic leopard siting by the way.
    I love your Landy set up. You are very organised. Wonderful modern innovations to make camping easier.

    11:17 What I found out is that they do look at the book. For them its imperative because they need to be certain you are out of the Park when they close. U could be stuck or lost or something and they may need to go looking for u. Chobe doesnt have night drives so if they just left u, u are there all night alone.

      I also believe it's a measure against poaching. If everyone's out of the park by 7pm then whoever is in there should have a pretty good reason as to why they are still there. I believe the army anti-poaching units patrol the park at night and get involved in shootouts with poachers (especially in Chobe) from time to time. Best not to be there when it kicks off...

    • @PTBT1423
      @PTBT1423 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@IM_AKEEM That is true and since we have a shoot to kill when it comea to poachers, you really dont want to be caught in that crossfire.

    When we were at Ihaha last year we were almost attacked by a huge male baboon. He jumped into the back of our vehicle. He later had to be “dealt with” after he actually attacked someone. Lucky for you he’s no longer there. The river front is awesome.hey? Anyway thanks for another great video. Keep them coming.

    • @TheLandyExpedition
      @TheLandyExpedition  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow!! That’s not good, baboons can be a nightmare at times.
      It sure is awesome, we really enjoyed our time in Chobe. Thank you so much for your comment, we really appreciate it ☺️

    Kudos for you respecting the leopards space. Can’t be said of the commercial game drive vehicle unfortunately

    • @TheLandyExpedition
      @TheLandyExpedition  ปีที่แล้ว

      Always try to respect wildlife as much as we can. Yes, unfortunately a lot of game drivers don’t and this is not right.
      Getting the perfect shoot is not the most important thing, the most important thing is the welfare of these incredible animals!
      I hope one day they will realise this 🤞

    Hi . Awesome video. What did the camp sites cost ? Thanks

    • @TheLandyExpedition
      @TheLandyExpedition  ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you! We camped in the Chobe park at Ihaha and I believe it cost us around $100, don’t quote me on that. It was expensive and we only did it for one night because that is all we could afford.
      We did hear lions all night which made the cost worthwhile ☺️
