I saw this at the Harrisburg PA fire show and made a video of it. Since then my video has been viewed close to 14,000 times. This is an awsome light bar

between this and the valor, I kinda wish they combined them. Valor LEDS around the bar with the domes on top. Now that would be some major light output!

could this be done in an aerodynic package as their LED version has a limited light dispersment being stationary. im just wondering if the circuit board and rotator package could be implimented into a different bar or is this just the best light positioning for a lightbar?

Super cool. I’m currently learning microcontroller programming with the Arduino and some of the other Microchip/Atmel MCUs (Eg. ATtiny13, ATtiny85, AT90S4414, etc). Maybe one of these days I’ll be building my own brand of light bar with your products! ;)

This is a great light bar, way ahead of its time. They just need to get the price down and prove its reliability.

this kind of technology would be cool in a dash light setup with the mirror behind it for povs and what knot, but a killer lightbar none the less :) looks like a new age smart vector

Green Light's are mostly for Security Vehicle's here in the US, here in my hometown of Concord,
New Hampshire, Green Light's are only on our Security Vehicle's, but I've have seen some Fire Department's in other state's that have Green' Light's mixed-in with the Red and White Light's on some of there Vehicle's, but I never seen any Ambulance's that have Green Light's on them though.
I'm pretty sure they'll make an All Green One, they probably have to special request for one when ordering.

This new lightbar, to replace the venerable Vision Halogen, will be a boon to installers preparing vehicles for some California code-enforcement agencies, e.g., animal services agencies and utility-district security departments, that may have scramble responsibilities for distress calls. An animal-control officer could need all-amber on scene at an urgent or routine call, red and blue when answering a call for backup from police.

Nice light system, but way too many controls and options.. Appears way too complicated for a single officer to be able to operate. Going to need a second cop to operate the light controls.

QNZ NYC there isn't an answer that will be worthy, but for example NYPD uses blue on the back for the becons on the ends. So they could have red in front blue on back.. is it nice sure.. needed is another story

    • @Son37Lumiere

This isn't really true. LEDs have become much brighter than the halogen bulbs used in old rotators but LEDs are available in all sorts of brightness levels.

Something as simple, and as awesome as sealed beam halogen rotators was completely destroyed, over complicated, and outrageously priced for cheap plastic and those HORRIBLE LED. Sad. And this is why we can't have nice things. Because of this rubbish that everyone thinks its better, and it's not. It is really NOT ! Parts probably not even made in America.
