While not retired I can definitely relate to what you are saying about so many people creating traffic jams, long lines in stores (mostly just food shopping or stupid home goods). I myself work my tail off, self employed and really never take a day off. I like to ride one of my three motorcycles preferably during daylight hours but the roads are crowded. I get burnt out with work related driving so my bikes collect dust when I do ride I am often stuck behind too many cars. So basically a hobby of mine gets shelved in favor of staying at home when not working and just surfing the net whilst snaking and boozing. Oh well at least I work. I'm 50 and I have a good home and I save and I just aspire for retirement age if....I can maintain decent health, a healthy planet down the road etc, etc.....Who knows it will all probably go up in smoke with climate change and or WW3 but we try to do the best we can.
Tomorrow is not promised for sure, something I learned and live by now. But retirement doesn't mean not doing things anymore. I am in a class now learning how to fix stuff, and I might make it a side business. I just will not work for someone else like I have in the past. Thank you for watching and comments. it means a lot.
I agree. I love Walmart at 10AM. I am in and out in 5 minutes.
😊😊
