Justin, check out ‘le jazz de v’ and please react to V’s tiny desk for his layover EP, the vocals were so good. All his live vocals are constant, stable and sound like studio versions. The man is definitely underrated.
What fascinated me about Taehyung was that despite his beautiful face and voice that captivates everyone, and despite his fame (even compared to his bandmates), he chose to grow organically and establish himself as a solo singer.

HE IS UNDERRATED because he prefers classic music like jazz and jazz is not really supported in Korea cuz it's not pop , and what Tae is making is something really beautiful and unique that no one has ever done it before in K-pop he's bringing his own style to K-POP with his suitable deep husky voice and we need to support him Army 💜💜💜
I've been saying Tae is underrated for years.... he has such a buttery vocal that's also rich. And he's just a unique person.
People who appreciate good music love Tae as an artist. He has been my fav artist since day 1. You are right abt him being an enigma.....and it takes a while to get him. That's why fans like us who are 100% committed to him understand him the most. I absolutely love everything about him.

100% underrated. The company has never understood V’s vocal tone and the hyungs are all about jk and Jimin. The producers in big hit only prefer tenors, even after they created Hybe with all that money, they never brought in a producer for his vocal tone. V had to go outside of big hit to make his EP ‘Layover’ while they made sure to give the other two maknae liners every bit of support they needed. I’ve been there from the early days and I always see the members put him down, they always portray the ‘fights’ and other negative elements with V. V is very loyal and family orientated so he doesn’t speak out against the hyungs, he defers to his elders. I think he gave up trying to get lines in songs a while ago. His confidence regarding his vocals took a hit from the day they made him the ‘hidden’ member. The fandom has never supported V’s music and recently there has been an active campaign by fans of the other members over the last couple of years to sabotage his music and comeback. Just look at the searches for each member on TH-cam. B’s is flooded with other members videos and there are some many videos of fake news about him or trying to create scandals about him. They says these are Tae stans but they are antis. Personally for me V has the best vocals, the range, the versatility and tone, but they never use it. He can do ad libs/ high notes and runs but they never let him do them. Big hit has always given v the least amount of screen time on bangtan tv, despite the fact that they say he is a stan attractor and has the highest views for his fancams. I wait for the day when bts move onto solo work because V has a classic voice which is timeless. I can see him still singing in his 50’s. I love his music and his creativity, he is underrated and shelved by the company for sure. I also think they have done this to RM who’s my second fav artist. V & RM’s music is the only music I would buy and listen to. I loved bts before dynamite era, now they are too pop oriented and the music is not my cup of tea. I will always wish them success, but the disappointment with the treatment of V’s comeback proved my recent thoughts about the way he is being treated and so no longer support the group/company.
Finally someone pointed this out,, I've always thought that I was paranoid but seems it's true.
The other members Voices are good that I cannot defer but V's Voice is immaculate,,the only issue is that he is not provided with the same profession as the others,,I feel sad especially when now that he is joining military

@@antoniosunmola4847 you’re entitled to your incorrect opinion, however, you now have this reactor also feeling the same way as the ‘victim mentality’ fans, he never used to be a Tae fan and doesn’t do a lot of Tae reactions, even he is picking up on the issue. One would think that this would give a person pause to think about why people are getting this impression and yet asinine comments like yours are the go to answer for the nay sayers. My advice would be to go and do some research, there’s plenty of content out there . By the way, we are talking about Tae here as he is the topic of this video, but there has been plenty of mistreatment of some of the other members music as well, however, it is feeling more and more like Tae is being shelved.

You are right. And in army fandom if you point this out they will call you SOLO. They won't let you speak about him . At this point it's feel like ARMY hate Taehyung the most or should I say most of big ARMY accounts is run by company itself or they act what company told them too .
ARMY'S and company behaviour too similar towards Taehyung. This is the reason people who love him choose to support ONLY him instead being a group fan .
I believe one day TAEHYUNG will be big soloist ( organically without any payola) .
@@makeitright777 Totally agree with you. I also feel that fans of some of the other members are also working against Tae. Tae is not stupid, he is loyal to the members and knows what the company is doing. I love his decisions and can’t wait for him to do another acting role. I even love how he has embraced enlistment and set himself tough goals to challenge himself. Still can’t get over him being in a Special forces unit reporting directly to the blue house. Like only Tae would think out side the box.

We too observed the shelving, the unprofessional handling of his album by his label, he broke a 23 year old sales record in 6 hours but his company canceled and delayed shipping to stop the record, there was so much sabotage and deleting of streams from charts for his album Layover. He did self promo like rookie artist, there were no banners and posters for him, no big promo budgets by his label, he don't even have a basic "THIS IS V" Playlist on Spotify.
He mentions how he never wants to lose his principles and values, seemed like he didn't want to compromise with his artistic style and that angered the label. But the same thing established him as a successful organic artist and I respect that. He broke so many records but he's still underrated.
I love his voice and unique style, I believe he'll be remembered for generations.

Yes V is underrated because of his own agency. V loves classic music, jazz, R&B any types of music he will nailed it. Ever since he was child he always love to sing. I love his unique voice. Totally agree, even he has millions of fans , he is underrated. And I think he is developing a very stable fandom. I love each one of them but he is truly exceptional. Someone said : in a sea full of tenors we have V with his baritone’s unique exceptional and beautiful voice.

Oh wow your comments almost made me teared up 😅I agree with you that he's one of the most interesting artist out there right now, with a very unique and distinctive voice. He's personality is not easy to catch cause he has many facets indeed.
V is obviously one of the most popular idol but I also feel that he is very underrated musically and as a vocalist.
V did say that he wanted to stick to his style (soul, rnb, jazz) for his debut. And that he didn't wanted to go too big (promotion wise), as it was simply showing himself with honesty to the public for the first time. He did him, and I respect and admire that so much.
But yeah I still feel that his company/label didn't push or supported his music as they should. Yet his solo debut performed extremely well (commercially and also well received by critics) and considering it's not mainstream music with big commercial support it's impressive. I trust him to go through his own path at his own pace 😉He is doing what he likes and he is happy with it so that's what matters!

May I suggest his tiny desk concert and his live band sessions (where he performed his new songs). You are going to love it. And for you to know he performed this song live (and an other one - Cheek to Cheek) with a jazz band (recent cover from this year - le jazz de V). It's a must to watch! Borahae 💜
V's sound is pure gold
He is creating his own niche, so to speak, and his sound is timeless, so even without the investment, he'll outlive many musically
Definitely not a traditional K-pop vocal sound. So much richer, warmer and unique. I could listen to it all day. I hope he brings more of his generation to discover and enjoy jazz. He is definitely underrated and his company doesn’t promote him like the others, but I think it is why he has stayed true to and developed his unique style. As always, great reaction Justin.
He is a true artist and I can’t wait to see what he does when his military service is done. This cover is so good. His album was so good and it is a shame the company felt it wasn’t worth promoting in America. I would choose to listen to his smooth calm voice any day over all of the noise being produced in the music industry these days. Thank you for the kind words you always have for him. thank you for this reaction, I'm happy you appreciated him so much, unfortunately yes Taehyung has always been the hidden member, many people will tell you that it's not true but in reality as a V fan I can tell you that you are perfectly right, unfortunately for the company all those who meet him in person are fascinated by him so he manages to succeed anyway, Taehyung is not a guy who bends to the will of others and this annoys many person but it’s not important, the important thing is that he can continue to sing and give us these masterpieces 💜 thank you again 💜

His raw vocals are amazing, all his live performances and his vlives. Where he just sings along. Ohh what a voice
Tae is underrated one of biggest reasons is his com too who always side line him give very less lines sometimes he just 1 line he repeated them again and again. It's been years com have become so huge yet they can't hire a producer who knows how to use baritones voice. Also u are right about com mistreating Tae sadly even army are manipulated but u as an artist understand it more

He has the melted dark chocolate baritone. When he dropped this last year, even the Bing Crosby Estate gave it a like because his voice did justice to this classic song. Tae’s natural range is not used often within the group’s pop songs, he and JungKook usually have to sing higher than natural is what Jin & Jimin do, so it is always a delicious treat to hear Tae’s baritone.
Taehyung's voice is truly extremely underrated. People pay attention to his visuals more than his voice
Taehyung is extremely talented have most versatile voice in grp, sing hardest part of songs ( rm said himself) have widest vocal range and currently I check all members performance for there solo vocal now I can confidently say most stable members, sàdly his com have there own favourite, they didn't give Tae good promo literally 0 US promotion, didn't ship his album on time to not having album the day of its release reasons etc.
@iamjustinburke I was just shaking my head in agreement to whatever you were saying throughout… Tae’s voice is soooo unique and feels peaceful, it just hits straight to the heart whoever he sings. I personally feels so happy listening to Tae ❤ I totally agree that Tae’s music underrated and he deserves more. His music is so truthful and genuine. I wanted to listen to him more and more everytime I listen to him. He deserve more support and opportunities for creating more of his music. I just love him ❤

You should check out the Le Jazz de V if you haven't already. His voice got much better in the last 2 years. Or his performances at IU's pallete are also very pretty!

Not just lable having there favorites in grp and subogate Tae but majority of army too, they nowdays select whom they goona support more and whom less and in Tae case even worse they not just support him less to none they even boycotted some of his solo works like Sweet Night, went holiday Christmas Tree and Blue Gray when it started gaining more then main track they started leaving it out of playlist etc good thing Tae have big solo fanbase on his own so he managed to get well... Anyways I just wish Tae get lots of love and recognition for his music in future

It's really sad that his solo project is being sabotaged in all directions, including from his own company... but as we know, V has "something" that keeps his light from dimming and creates his own records.... no matter how hard people push him down, V is still V ....
It's not sabotaged it's after his will. He is stubborn and old enough to make his own decisions. If he wanted mainstream he wold have done it.

So do you think the delayed album delivery that affected the charts was V's wish? Is the Layover album not on display at Target V's wish? Geffen didn't tweet anything about the layover when it was released like other albums and did it a few days later, is that also V's wish? chaos on all music platforms almost simultaneously is also V's will? Album sales were cut on the grounds that there was no stock while there were a lot of POs? And Hanteo has apologized and explained that the company was the one who canceled it...and you still say it was V's wish or choice
We're not talking about promos or the genre that V chooses...I know all the members choose their own way of promoting, but this is about the way the company handles it. Delayed delivery and deletion and cancellation of sales, in fact it has been almost 3 months since there has been no This is V on Spotify like other members who got it in a matter of days. Nobody made him a victim because V was able to prove his power with his choice of music but don't close your eyes to the treatment of the company and some fake Army fanbases towards V in his solo era....
@@bloom6829 How does the fact that BangPD works with the Zionists relate to the fact that Taehyung chose his own promo? Members have said and shown millions of times that their work is under their control. Similar doubts hurt Hobi's feelings when the army began sending letters to the company saying that he was being sabotaged.And later in the album Hobi wrote that he was upset by the fact that we didn’t like it. Why can't you trust Tae, you're his manager!?

Agreed! His voice is classic. I first found out about BTS thru an Adele cover he did that I absolutely loved. Since then, I've loved ALL their music, but especially lean toward V's sound.

ive heard so much of his singing and yeah he's really underrated. doesnt get enough apreciation, and the company doesnt utilize his voice effectively enough. he's like a tool that no one sees or don't know how to use
