We love V’s voice. V’s voice does not always get to shine in BTS songs as he generally needs to sing in a higher octave than would be his preference. That is what makes songs like Stigma and Singularity so great along with the album Layover. He gets to sing in his preferred range. His songwriting is also special. He wrote Stigma when he was 19 I believe. His lyrics for Blue and Grey, Winter Bear, Scenery, Sweet Night etc really reflect his personality and artistic aesthetic. Truly special.

If you can believe it, Kim Taehyung is officially only a "sub-vocalist" in BTS. I am told that the person in charge of the soundtrack for Our Beloved Summer (k-drama) actually wrote Christmas Tree specifically with BTS V in mind to sing the song. His voice suits the song so well. I am glad you enjoyed listening to it. I actually became a fan of V after hearing this song while watching the show. I was mesmerized by it, so I went and looked up who the singer is...and the rest is history.
I thought his position was promoted to "vocalist". Is it still sub-vocalist??
He is completely underrated and not supported by his label!
Oh, come on , no one pays attention to this title , we all consider him a vocalist . And he sings as much as other vocalists in bts song . We love all of them, and we recognize their talents . No one is underrated .

I know brother he is so underrated. But Taehyung also said that he likes to be underrated, he doesn't like too much chaos. He just only wants that his fans to adore his talents and singing.
He's definitely underrated because of his company... His company didn't put a single effort in promoting him .. he's underrated because he didn't make swearing or double minded songs for this generation...
I'm glad you said it, Taehyung is really underrated as a vocalist. He is a very versatile singer, if not the most versatile in BTS but songs like Christmas Tree, Snow Flower, or any of the songs on his album are the ones that come most naturally to him and showcase his warm and unique tone the best. The fact is People are crazy over his handsomeness....but he is underrated for his music taste and soulful voice and this hurts me.By the way your reaction was just like me when I first listened to this masterpiece and I fell for him for his music right at that moment. Surely he's so underrated, they only stan him for his looks not for his talent. 😢 The reason why he is my bias is because of his voice, so smooth and has a healing effect on me. His looks is just a bonus to me..
There's not a single song from this Man that confuses me or find boring, his soulful voice touches you deep giving you chills when you not even expecting it, it's true that his underrated and that pisses me off too coz this Man is making music not just songs
V has a unique beautiful tone to his voice. All his solo works and his recent album, Layover are incredible. I love his jazz de la v as well.
He is seriously underrated. His voice is really healing and so unique and beautiful. I will never understand why he is always pushed down by his company. He has very few lines in group songs but his verses always draw fans in and his small part always gets ppl interested in the group. His solo songs are masterpieces. Every single one. I really hope he will do more solo songs after military. I am now spoiled having listened to a whole album with only his voice to go back to him only having two lines in a song.

Yes thank you for putting V out there and fighting in his corner. Each of his songs are special. He's such a romantic. With 7 of them and because it's market driven who the company promotes and focuses on is a market game.

I agree with you. He should have thousands of songs with that voice! It’s a crime. Such a unique vocal tone. K-pop doesn’t really serve him the best. He adds so much depth to BTS, but I want more. He is underrated and under used. I hope he will comeback from his military service with more amazing music. Looking forward to his collab. with IU early next year. Those two sound great together. I think V likes to do things slowly.He even said that it takes him atleast 3days to finusg recording one song.I bet he did work on his vocals in the recent years. Jungkook once said in one of his lives that he is liking his new improved vocal.

You had the same feeling that I had, I've been following Taehyung for years and he sometimes leaves a snippet of compositions that he has and they are beautiful and he hasn't released them and I'm almost sure that the company prevents him from doing them because he talks about an album authored for more than 3 years and hasn't released it and I'm sure, if he did, even if it doesn't receive the due value as it hasn't until now, it would be a masterpiece. 💜💟

I didn't see any similar voice like this in kpop really his voice is unique and deep and he likes jaz and old music i really amazed that how someone like V be in this generation still he has old soul music we growup with he is really underrated alot of youtubers his voice is unique and they hope he release alot of songs ❤

That kid is so underrated and all his song choices are beautiful, I listen to them while chilling at home with a glass of wine. I think much of it is that he has only just in this year had the chance to do solo work since BTS has been (and will continue to be) his "home," and sadly, right now he is doing his Korean mandatory 18 months of military service, having enlisted on 12/11, so he won't have the opportunity to do more until he gets out in June 2025. That being said, he is an EXTREME talent, and, much like JIMIN, his voice is so unique, and I too hope he will continue to pursue his solo work/career, but his heart is with BTS and that will take priority. But it's so nice to see you so appreciating his talent-he is incredible.

Yo me enamoré de su voz con Singularity y así sigo porque, en mi opinión, su voz es una delicia para los sentidos.
A V se le quiere mucho pero llevas razón, no se le aprecia por sus cualidades vocales como lo merece. Se destaca mucho su presencia escénica, su seguridad, su carisma, su casi irreal belleza y se deja en un lugar peor situado su maravillosa voz.
Debe ser que cuesta asimilar que alguien sea dueño de tanta virtudes.
Recuerdo la presentación en un concierto en Tokio de Singularity y no podía creer que un tipo tan joven pudiera mostrar tal despliegue de talento.

Sei perfeitamente o que você sentiu ao ouvir essa canção, na voz do V, eu não consigo escutar, e falei na Weverse (aplicativo da HIBE, empresa do BTS, grupo que ele ainda faz parte), fui no perfil dele desabafar, o quanto a voz dele é profunda, na qual ao ouvir algumas de suas canções, scenery também, eu sentia como se uma "espada" cortasse o meu peito, sinto uma "dor" invadindo minha'alma a ponto de chorar, a voz do V, é muito profunda, ouço as suas músicas no spotify, e essa é uma delas, que geralmente deixo mudo ou bem baixo, pois não aguento de tanta emoção. Vamos nos unir, mobilizar um grupo de fãs, para quando ele sair do SM, fazermos um pedido para que ele grave mais canções, ainda que o meu coração não "aguente", pois ele e sua voz são espetaculares, e o mundo precisa conhecer e ouvi-lo, ainda mais. 💜🇧🇷

This is one of my favorite V songs, along with sweet night. He is my favorite vocalist in BTS but i love them all. Suga is my bias for his thought provoking lyrics but Vs songs like this are my favorite but there are so few of them sadly. I agree with you. We need more.

I also wish he would put out more music! I think he's shy about his vocals at times, which seems insane to us but it shows how humble of an artist he can be. This is an OST not really Christmas song, scenes are from the show Our Beloved summer;. The show was really good. V did drop a Christmas song last year. Check out Layover V's solo album, it is jazzy. I do love this song, I listen to it regularly.

This was for an OST, which was what the mv was showing. They are all in the military they are not going to be able to release anything for 18 months. They pre-recorded some things for Army that we might get like Jimin released the other day.

Thank you for reacting and more importantly appreciating our V/Tae Hyung’s unique voice. He is a gem both as a person and as a vocalist. Big Hit and BTS have always been supportive of V/Tae Hyung doing solo projects. We have been waiting a long time for his solo album. It was supposed to come out a few years ago but Tae was not sure what kind of music he wanted to do. He was writing and working on some songs but he was not happy with most of it. He originally wrote Blue and Grey as an English song and it was supposed to be on his solo album. The other members liked it so much that it was produced as a BTS song on the BE album. Tae Hyung marches to his own beat and to his own clock. His personality is very down to earth and very laid back hence he does things according to his own timeline. Also BTS was working at a mad pace as they were breaking into the US market and then COVID happened. You should watch Tae’s interview with Suga on the show Suchwita. You will learn a lot about his personality and how burned out he was. He is such a pure soul and so sweet and humble. He wanted to release Layover for his fans and recognized that he could have bigger recognition if he produced flashier pop hits like JK but that is not what he wanted. I do think he is under rated as a vocalist as Big Hit did not know what to do with his voice until he released Stigma and then Singularity. Not sure if you have reacted to Stigma yet but you should do his live performance. His stage presence is legendary and his voice sounds even better than the studio version. I think you will be surprised by his range. Many of his fans hope he releases a duet album. He sang a duet with IU on her show IU’s Palette. Please react to the duet with IU and V singing Ending Scene. You will be an even bigger fan. IU is a great friend as well as a fan of V and said he should do more duets. He just finished filming a guest star on a music video for her next album before he went into the military. It should come out mid 2024. We can’t wait to see it. He also wants to act so expect to see him in movies as well when he comes back. The camera loves him and he sells out everything he is associated with. He is a brands dream ambassador. FYI his OST Sweet Nights and Christmas Tree broke records.

BH doesn''t want that V out shine their FAV members solo career.. tThey were just want to make money out of him/from his BTS merch ,brand endorsements , solo album sale and spent that huge funds on their FAV boys American promotion & COLLABS FYI V's the most hard working member among them... make it his each &every success/ achievements all by himself without BH support n promotions
