Hard to believe, but he was even better during his Tiny Desk performance. Not too many artists who manage to sound live better than their studio performance. V has it all, talent, looks, charisma.
V does not get enough credit for his singing skills. Even to this day, there are online haters claiming he’s vocally weak and only gets by on his looks. It’s insane, especially when we literally have videos like this where he is truly singing live.
I don’t understand the haters. I believe they’re secretly obsessed with him. V’s voice is magical and he takes the listener on a beautiful journey of sound.

First take was an amazing experience Vs vocals are surreal. Sometimes I wish radio stations from the United States would happen upon some of these reviews and play his music by chance. Kim Taehyung is showing the world he is more than fashion.
Iris Stevenson, another brilliant voice coach agrees with you. She told Tae during American Hustle Life that he had a voice that made people feel something. Iris recognized Tae's talent before BTS was big and now here we are years later with Layover. All the guys turned out great solo efforts, but Tae's album is my favorite. His voice is so soothing and soulful.
10 years of perfecting his craft and learning! He had many people he admired and could of copied, but he produced an inspiring Tae only vocal! Kudos to him!❤

I never quite understood why someone with such a wide vocal range is not utilized more.. if I’m being honest, I don’t want to go back to the way things were regarding line distribution with their group songs.
