@@emmalee4369 I think I've finally decided I'm gonna get them - if I keep getting more rubbishy ones around the $80-100 mark, I just won't be able to have as much fun, and I'll probably want new skates after a year or two. And if I buy another pair of $80-100, then after a year want the moxis (which I probably will), that's $400 spent, as opposed to $300 and then you keep them for many years.
I've been wanting these skates for months. I haven't skated in like 20 years But these videos get me so excited to roller skate again. I was so passionate about this when I was a kid and as of lately I've been vividly dreaming myself skating. I will purchase a pair soon. At least before the summer is over. Keep doing what you do ladies. You guys inspire.

Have to agree with the other ladies! I hadn’t skated since I was like 10 years old and I just turned 35 last month 😱! I put purple moxi skates as my bday present wish for my hubby and they came (like 3 weeks later) and I LITERALLY skate every single evening!! Just as much fun as when I was a kiddo and it comes back to you so quick!
I just got Moxi beach bunnies, and they came laced so didn’t really check it out to see if they were done properly. But - they were bothering my feet along the tongue ridge, so I just watched this video and realized they were laced wrong! Yes, it matters! Especially with these stiff boots. Now, laced correctly, those pressure points are pretty much gone! Plus they’re SO much easier to tighten. Thank you!!! You women are truly inspiring! ❤️
Do not give up! I found mine brand new from a Mom ' Pop skate shop #sk8ratz for way less. Months ago I could not find my size any where for full price!
I'm so glad i got to meet Abominatrix, and greatful to her for being so generous for giving me some gear before she moved down there, now i get to skate every day! When she told me she was moving to LA, i jokingly asked if she was going to join the Moxi team! Lol. I'd love love to visit that shop and get my own pair of moxi skates someday, thanks for the videos! They've helped me so much!
OMGOOOD i needed this video a few days ago! I washed my laces in the washing machine and i forgot how to put them back in 😂 i had to get my coach to put them back in properly 😂😣😣

I love this because I actually just went to pigeon’s old video (unboxing your new moxi skates) to watch how to lace them so I could put new laces in my Moxi Lolly’s! I’m glad we have an updated and more detailed version now!
I used this method on my beach bunnies and WOW, what a difference it makes. It's SO much easier to tighten the laces, specially on the stiffer boot of the beach bunny. Makes it way more efficient. Thank you!

Hi, When i roller skate i notice that my right foot aches and after a while it starts to hurt. Could this be how i have laced them? I have only recently started to learn how to roller skate, so could it be that i'm tensing my feet to much? ♡
If you want more ankle support. You laced the laces at the hooks under then over, giving 180 degrees of pull, and it can actually damage or deform the hooks, but if you go over then under, it gives more stability and locks in place, and it looks a bit better
They are all so delicious with all those colors! I want to mention an easier way to lace to get a consistent crossover. If you always start with the left lace and go in the first hole on the right, then the take the right lace and go in first hole on the left… then take the right lace and go in the first hole on the left. Then take the lower left lace and go to the right and to the left, not skipping holes. From here on out you will repeat lower left lace to right and then left, then lower left lace , right and left. Each time you will end with two laces on the left, so grab the lower left. You will have a consistent cross over and it’s very fast! Hope this makes sense!
The colors are gorgeous! I came looking for lacing instructions & have watched many on here. What i don't understand is when I see this type of lacing and people are struggling why? If you just alternate the lacing as you go up it is quicker instead of struggling and overthinking, left, right, left right, etc. Thanks for the suggestions!

yo, Iv'e got a question. So I learned to skate on inline skates, but moved on to roller skates a few years ago....i got really flexible ankles so the blades whern't doing me any favor...my first pair of skates where some cheep ones...you know the deal, plastic wheels, and the boot was actualy looking like a converse, with a bit more padding, so the ankle support, not great...now i finally upgraded to a better pair its got a faux leather boot, much stiffer, and a heel...(and better wheels and plates)....sorry for the looong intro, here comes my question: on my old skates, i used to tie the laces around my ankles for more suport, since they where so flimsy....but i heard is not great...should i change that with my new one, or is alright?

I'd recommend buying them soon if you want them before the summer is over! It took me about 5 weeks to get mine, but SO worth the wait.

Wow! I put it on practice this morning and it was SO much better! I was much tighter and easier to tie! thank you!!!
