Have this bag and love it. It's my go to travel bag, ready to handle the trip, EDC while exploring, and even hikes. The flexibility can't be beat, and it can handle the loads super comfortably. To those concerned about carry on compatibility, just compress it down, you can make it fit without issue as long as you don't stuff it completely.
$175.00 - $400. is average for a good back, travel and EDC pack, any hiker, camper, prepper, hunter and people who travel quite a bit will tell you the same. there is always JAN SPORT for the budget conscious. great review
Do you get weird looks? I want to use this for EDC but also for military use. I have to get it in green for uniform compliance and I feel it being tactical and in green would bring a bunch of attention.
Good review. The bag is slightly too tall/big for my needs, but I might buy it. I absolutely agree that it would be better without the molle on the outside. I think Mystery Ranch is on the right track and I hope they keep rolling with these kinds of products.
Love your clips 👍(nice taste in music too) I use the MR 2DAP for travel etc - this is very tempting though - apart from the price … over NZD$500 here. Ouch.
Good review. We love the tri-zip. One of these days I’m going to get a 3 DAP. We have the discontinued Sweet Pea and Big Horn. They have a flap on the front for bulky items.
Nice pack. I generally EDC a RipRuck 15 in the summer and UA24 in the winter. The 2DAP is my hunting/camping pack. I could see this being a replacement for the UA and 2DAP.
Hello and thank's for youre vidéo... Y have a question please..y want a backpack for go work ..go in another town for a week...do motorcycle...bicycle..( 30...35 litres)..and when y watch video of the MR blitz or the remote equipment alpha 31. Y don't chose. Do you have something to talk or another pack...? Sorry for my english...
you killed it, again! Great review! How would you compare this to the 34L GR2? or even the Vertx Gamut 2.0? I am with you on not having the MOLLE. This bag reminds me of my first EDC backpack, which was an older SOG daypack that had the same exterior pocket set up. Thanks for all you do!!!
I was worried as well that the pack would be to tall for me. I am 5' 6" , but I was blown away by how comfortable this pack is. I got the s/m pack and it took about 3 days to get it dialed in just right. For me its almost like I'm not wearing it now.
Great review! I was between this bag and the 2 dap, which you reviewed as well, and you have me sold on this model. My only concern is using this bag as my personal carry on for traveling, which will be its primary purpose. Do you think this would fit under the seat on the airplane? I plan on traveling with a large duffel that will go in the overhead compartment so this one would have to fit under my seat.
Ive had nithing but problems with my 500D bags! The naterial tears the zipoers go bad you name it. Give ne 1000D 8 days a week twice on sunday. My exoensive Ibex35 lasted 17months then the nain zipper slider cut right through the 500D cordura!! And i dont want to gi throgh the hassle of replacing it xo im not buying these bags im inly renting them for a year and a half.
This is a solid pack but like most mystery ranch packs it a few issues. The biggest issue is that it is not technically within carry on size. That’s a big miss for most people. If mystery ranch redesigned this with edc/travel in mind if would be insane. Take it down to 28-26 liters to get it to carry on size. Ditch compression straps or make them removable. Eliminate the front molle and make it slick. Like you I love the U shaped opening and the futura harness. With those changes it would be an instant buy even at the price point.
Idk G. I have never been impressed with a Mystery Ranch bag and I’ve had a few. They all seem cheap and poorly made but I am definitely going to think on this one. Thanks!
Bro you’re my favorite bag reviewer! Please keep it up!

Thanks for the great review George. And I especially appreciate your good lighting in the studio....sometimes black paks are difficult to show detail.

Glad to see you’re back from your break. Keep cranking them out. Packs for us bigger brothers!
I've been using the blitz 35 as edc for >10months. (Replaced evergoods cpl28 and able carry max)
Definitely loving it.

@@Amtrak___ i don't think it has drawn attention.
But imo no matter what packs you use,if you're in uniform, people would just look.
I’ll always watch George but I’ll make sure I watch if it’s a mystery ranch review
Looking for a little less mall ninja upgrade to my usmc filbe assault pack.... this might be it?? Motorbike trips, hikes, air travel ect.

Great video! I don't like the compression straps going over the zipper but it ain't a dealbreaker.
Awesome review. Thank you so much.
How do you compare this to a a 2 Day Assualt Pack for EDC but all military use?
If you would like military grade pack I would look at GORUCK, Blackhawk 3 Day, or eagle industries.
Love your style. Awesome review, thanks.
Great video, I want to get one for my daily motorcycle pack.
There is no one pack for everyone, but the Blitz 30 is getting pretty close.
Nice pack. I generally EDC a RipRuck 15 in the summer and UA24 in the winter. The 2DAP is my hunting/camping pack. I could see this being a replacement for the UA and 2DAP.
Love it but I'm pretty sure it's too big for me. I'd love to see this in 25L without the molle and maybe dial back those compression straps.
Love the beard bro 👍 couldn’t decide between this and the 35. Finally settled on the 35
The Scavenger back pack

If you don't completely fill it, you will be able to compress it and it will fit. Hope this helps you in time.
We need a top 10 video after all the bags you've reviewed!
Look back at his history and he did a top bags review!
How does this compare to the 511 Rush series?
yes! mystery ranch!
Have you thought about orbitgear bags? They got some real cool ones on a budget

Good stuff George, you get a like from me.
How its smaller than the rip ruck 32?
Nice review
What are you keeping in your CAP 1?
Thanks i just buy blitz 30 today 😂
Miss your videos buddy
Wish it were smaller so that I could use it as a personal item…I suppose I could not pack to the brim so that it fits the dimensions.
any chance for a Catalyst 26 review? :D

I kind of wish I got this instead of my GR2 honestly.
You should check out and review our Minuteman Pack.

i prefer my gr1 26 over the blitz ..
